I have purchased several of these for our catering business. I work in an office without AC. I Don’t mind so much but my poor pup. I took one out and put it underneath a couple layers of her blanket. She immediately took to it and is no longer panting uncontrollably. These are not intended to be used this way and I am exercising extreme caution to make sure she doesn’t start to chew. If you can keep an eye on or trust your pet, this is a brilliant use of this product.

I used these for a week long family Thanksgiving. We served meals for fourteen loved ones three times a day. Buffett was the practical way to do this. Heating plates and cooling mats were absolutely essential. I placed the cooling mats on a baking tray and covered the tray with attractive linens, they looked good. But, most importantly, these cooling mats held the cold foods for hours, didn't leak and refroze quickly. They were flexible enough to fold and freeze in an already bulging freezer. They held up great and are ready for another event.

Since using it, I’ve noticed that cheeses and meats hold up much better—even when placed on a thin tray—thanks to the consistent cooling from this ice mat underneath. I place a piece of wax/parchment paper underneath the fruit or meat of the tray doesn’t match the theme of the party. This makes for a quick and easy clean up! It’s simple, effective, and I honestly wish I had bought it sooner. Highly recommend for anyone hosting parties or setting up food displays.
