Review: Bought for kids but so fun using it myself! Good for any age. - I purchased this item for my kids, specifically my 10 year old daughter who is really into upcycling. It is really easy to use and fun. It came in a much smaller package than I expected because I didn’t read the details about having to provide your own bottle, but this isn’t a problem. The whole family is having fun using this and the kids are now washing and saving things like chip bags to use as beads instead of just throwing out these bags. I expect to be purchasing this bead maker several times over to gift to all of their friends. At this price, it’s a great go-to birthday present for those last minute invites to classmate parties. Probably a good idea to keep this item stocked in your gift closet.
Review: Miracle Paper Bead Winder - For what this is, a small plastic device, it is an excellent tool for rolling paper beads. It makes the task faster. You have to remove the long piece near the part where you screw it onto a bottle so that there is an opening for the finished bead to go in the bottle. You also have to hold the bottle between your knees, so that you can turn the handle, maneuver the paper, and keep the bottle steady while you are rolling. The bottle holds a lot of beads. Elmer's all purpose white glue is good because it's easy to apply, gives you time to make adjustments, yet dries fast after application. After you roll about 5 to 10 beads, you should be an expert. Magazine paper works best but I have used light weight scrapbooking paper. The double-sided scrapbook paper is a bit too thick so make the strip shorter. Only the last inch or so will show as the bead. The package shows how to cut the paper, which you can make longer (for larger beads) or shorter (for smaller beads). Do not pull magazine paper too much as you're rolling or it will rip. There are two drawbacks, your choice of bead shapes are limited and 4M needs to make longer metal rolling prongs so that you can make 2" and 3" beads. In all, this is a great little bead winder.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you put glue on the strip before you wind them? How do they not unravel?**
A: The printed instructions say to wind the paper on to the bars until you have approx 5 cm remaining to wind. Stop and apply a thin layer of glue to that remaining 5 cm and then finish winding.

**Q: After drying completely, don't they unravel easily?**
A: No they don't unravel easily as long as you've used glue. There is glue that comes with the kit, but we have found regular stick glue to work just as well.

**Q: Can you use fabric instead of paper?**
A: I don't see why not as long as you cut the fabric into narrow strips.

**Q: does this kit include the paper, it doesn't say thanks for reply**
A: It does include paper

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product but missing pictured container
*by C***A on March 30, 2025*

Love this, so much fun for my 9yr old! The beads come out so cute! Only issue is there appears to be a storage container for the beads pictured on the box but there was no container within. That said, the bead maker is the main part and it is a wonderful hobby tool.
