Behringer EUROPOWER PMP2000D 2000 Watt 14 Channel Powered Mixer with Klark Teknik Multi-FX Processor and Wireless Option

I seen a lot of good reviews, only 1 saying the wattage is low...You are either wrong, got a defective unit or dont know how to use a mixer/amp. I have played 3 venues with this so far, using JBL12in Passive speakers. Also with JBL 15in Passive speakers. It isnt a mackie, but it is a nice piece of equipment for those who know how to tweak them. Def. Not plug and play, you need experience in working with a mixer and knowledge DJing. PLenty of channels, and inputs only down fall, is the lack of speaker output on rear for a set of monitors. Loved my Mackie, had it all. But thats also a 1200.00 mixer/power amp. this ran mid 300's. Wattage is fine, theres absolutely no way this puts out 180w, as stated by a previous reviewer. Its a solid powerful amp/mixer. I've been DJing/KJing for 15 years, if your a new DJ, home artist, you will do fine with this product. Maybe some who have bands and need a lot of extras might complain, but if thats the case, they shouldnt have purchased this without reading the specs.

The unit packs a good punch for its size and weight. I run it on two Kustom 12 inch speakers for the mains and two Kustom 10 in speakers for monitors. It’s the perfect set up for my small combo hen playing venues up to 100 people. For the price, size and features, it’s a solid unit. My friend had had one for over 10 years and it still works great.thats why I got this. Only draw back is there is no monitor send if you want to bridge the PA to run more power to mains and use another amp to just run the monitors. But to be honest, if I need that power, I’ll most likely be playing a house that is providing sound. So it’s no big deal. I recommend this unit.

Got a four piece Bluegrass Band. Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle and Stand up bass. 3 vocals. Unit arrived quickly. Easy to set up. light weight. Looks good. sounds good. Need two outputs each for monitor and and mains. Subwoofer? Oh yeah they forgot. Output to house? Hmm. Got a few questions. But overall I am very satisfied so far.

My older version was over heating (20 years old probably) and needed the closest thing to it so I could unplug and plug things back in. It is a little different and is very sensitive to voice tones. Have to adjust for each person who uses the mic. Don’t really know what I’m doing (previous sound guy passed) but seems to be the most straight forward upgrade available.

This was purchased to replace a similar looking 15 year old Behringer powered mixer that met it's end thanks to a lightning strike. (Hardly it's fault) The new version which looks very much like it's predecessor has several new features and works great. The only thing I miss is a 1/4" line level output jack to feed another amplifier. It has a stereo pair of RCA jacks called "record out" which will work, but they aren't as convenient. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. Because it is operationally so similar to it's predecessor, I didn't have to give a group of volunteers any lessons on how to use it. I appreciate that! This isn't by any means an "end all" PA system, but for it's intended purpose it is a good value.

My first and last experience with Berhinger. Bought this amp and it sounded good for about an hour, when I first hooked it up. Next day (same connections) I turned it on and the right main channel had no high frequency at all. Tested everything but it all narrowed down to the fault of the right output with no hi frequency. I'm somewhat "sound savvy". Sent it back. Amazon sent me a replacement unit promptly. I fired it up and it sounded good. All seemed ok. Next day, I fired it up and once again, no highs in the right main channel. This made it useless to me. Same exact problem on two consecutive units? That tells me it is a manufacturer problem that I don't want any part of. No more Behringer for me. I just sent it back(Amazon service was fantastic, quick and no problem). Just stay away from this powered mixer. Specs were too good to be true. You get what you pay for. This was cheap, but was unusable. I'll stick with Yamaha again. Will pay a little more but I know I'll get good quality and good sound.

The power is great and is useful for outdoor events for our church. Looking to buy another one for a local camp.

What the hell is "thickness" in regards to a powered mixer? With that said, it's a powered mixer. If it has the feature set you need (it did for this application) then it's fine...so, uhh... it's fine. Not perfect, not what you would get with a Midas Heritage & an expansive outboard rack... not what even a Behringer X32 will give you, but then they aren't powered mixers are they? Shut up and do a channel count & a power calculation. It's fine. So are many others. Get the one that fits. This one fit our needs for this application. Got me? Good.
