New manufacturer - lesser quality product - regrettably
Regrettably not nearly up to the quality of my former tin (of the same make /brand) manufactured in the UK - purchased 20 years ago.The UK manufacturer must have sold out. Sadly it follows also that the instructions or details on the side of the tin are not in English. And finally, it seems to me that manufacturer is clear doing something different to the mix…“Cos it ain’t the same”!I will not be buying this product again and I cannot recommend it.Having said that, I should advise that I do have some remaining tins (various stains) of Wax from the original manufacturer and they carry the quality of product that I am after.

Objectivement, à eviter
À base de toluène, sent vraiment très très fort à l'application, donne même mal à la tête, il faut absolument aérer en cas d'application en intérieur (nous l'avons fait pourtant dans une pièce de plus de 60m2). Rien à voir avec l'odeur de cire qu'on connait. Au surplus ne protège absolument pas de l'eau (dans notre cas bois noyer brut). Enfin, une fois ouvert, le couvercle ne peut être refermé ( vice de fabrication qui semble être récurrent chez les acheteurs). Le toluène diffuse donc en continu. Seule solution laisser en extérieur ou dans un contenant parfaitement hermétique.
