I bought ready to use paint that I thought was black, but turns out it was gray. And it was non-refundable, so I decided to see if this would get me to the right color. It dries so deep and mixed in very smoothly. Very happy with the finished product.

The pigment is very black (not dark grey as many are). I need to adjust the amount of pigment I used (15% of CementAll by weight) as it left my hands black during unmolding. I had to wipe off the excess. Nest time I will try 10% (by weight). But overall, it was great to be able to achieve a very solid black.

So, I used this powder to color my concrete vessels for candles. I was wanting black, but they all came out grey. They turned out beautiful. But I really wanted black. I used cementall and mixed the powder in water before I added it to the cementall. The application was smooth. I used different amount for the vessels to try and achieve a black. It just wasn't happening, lol. The reason I'm giving this product 5 stars is simply because the product itself is great. I will definitely buy this again. Cement is just tricky to work with as far as coloring at times.

I bought this to darken some plaster and found it is also useful for other things, like adding to water and dying scale lumber for our 24th scale rock crawler diorama wooden projects. The only complaint I have is the amount of this pigment you get for your money is a bit on the small side.

Easy to add color to thinset for mosiacs … very happy!
