Just be prepared for an initial smell, but for me living where I do I am used to countryside aroma. It was very moist and very full of what is needed for a great Mulch. Was easy to spread and for what I needed there was plenty to use.

I mulched my roses fairly early this year as I was away for the first month of spring and my roses have never grown better. I truly believe this mulch is a game changer. It’s the only thing I did differently this year other than mulching a bit early sorry to me it seems very effective. A decent size bag, I have five roses and I still have some spare. It doesn’t smell and it spreads nicely leaving a nice looking finish to my pots. I also mulched my Acers and they have also thrived so far this year. So I love this stuff, it was definitely worth the buy.

I don’t know what I was expecting but I definitely wasn’t prepared for the smell ! If it does what it’s meant to do for my new planted tree then great but please be prepared for the stench ! I have never used mulch before so maybe this is normal for those of you who are hardened gardeners but I’m a newbie . I can’t comment on how great it is other than that if I’m being totally honest , let’s hope it does its magic the smell will be almost worth it ( maybe ) if it helps my tree growth

Couldn't stand the smell which lasted about a week

Stinks a bit but says it will wear off after rain and being put down (as most types do tbh) reminds me of my younger days working at the local stables 😂...but..there are no animal by products used. It is finely chopped (more so than scrultch which I also use) so looks better in ornamental beds. Very easy to use . My main complaint is that it's overpriced..not good if you have a larger garden or allotment etc... but if you only want a good quality smaller amount I would recommend as it looks nester when put down.

This has done wonders for our roses. It’s worth watching the product video because it does everything they say. Granted it’s a bit wiffy when you first open and apply it, but the odour fast disappears.
