It's basically a truck bed ratcheting bar, with rod holders clamped on. However it's made pretty decent, and I do like it, and it keeps my rods safe. But, one of the mounting rings on my set was not properly lined up during production, and was welded onto the rod tube at a slight angle. Thus, the tubes are not all parallel. The main rod that holds the whole thing in place is just an Adjustable Ratcheting Pickup Truck Bed Cargo Bar that you can get for under $30. The aluminum tubes with rubber cushioned openings, and with their welded mounting rings, are what makes this thing an attractive product.
