Andes Large Camping Windbreak Beach Windshield Shelter With Top Window - 5M x 1.4M

Purchased May 2017. Only used it for the first time last week and the wind broke it! About 10mph gusts and it collapsed because one of the end pins pulled out of a pole, deformed the pole and cracked the plastic insert.Contacted the supplier and explained the situation asking if they could supply a new pole. They replied that it was out of guarantee and could not replace the unit. I said I was prepared to pay for a pole, (I never expected a freebie), but they replied it was not possible.So I would not recommend this product, even though it does what it says on the tin Wind Break!

Bought this windbreak, wish I hadn't. Put it up in a slight breeze, the ground was soft so thought it would be fine. The poles are so small, they have approx 1 inch to go into the ground, put the guide ropes on to keep it sturdy. Wasn't up 5 minutes before it collapsed to the ground. Can't understand the length of the poles to hammer into the ground. Went back to the trusty old wooden poled windbreaker with plenty of pole to hammer into the ground. The actual concept is a good idea, but totally useless. Waste of money. So disappointed. It took an age to arrive, had it a long time before using it. So am stuck with it.

This was a complete disaster...after spending 3 days in the lakes faffing around with the windbreaker every time a gust of wind took place, I decided to take it down but only to find the metal poles had bent and the pegs were useless and replaced several times, do not buy this for camping, all the wooden pole windbreakers around us stayed up with no problem (or movement)...anyway am off to buy a proper windbreaker....sayonara

This product is awful. The gap in the awnings to slot the poles into were not sewn on in a straight line and for two poles were too narrow to actually fit the poles they've been designed to accommodate. If they quality checked the product, it would be excellent as the design is great, but clearly the manufacturers don't give two hoots about quality and ours was unusable.

It was far longer than I thought it would be , was originally going to return, the company were quick to respond, but we then decided to keep it .so glad we did , it is really good quality,and at a bargain price

Reading the reviews, was unsure to purchuse but really needed a second windbreaker, so took a punt and hoped for the best, i was not disappointed from the start, fast delivery, good quality, put up on quite windy conditions, does need a little fiddle to get the guide ropes in place but its the same as putting up a tent, always in the preparation and once up, it was perfect, stood up in all conditions and i must say was better then the expensive one, and even had windows to see out _ will def buy again

Now this is a fantastic addition for camping. A lot sturdier than the windbreak with the wooden poles I also have. The guyropes really do make it that much stronger and it is very long. Protects from the wind and gives you a little bit of privacy. I can't fault it and will make sure it comes with us every camping trip.
