Old motor only has 3 wires looks like this one has more. Old motor (grn ground) orange & blk.** A: My furnace was 1 speed as well. The orange wire is common, the red wire is low speed and the two blacks (or only 1 black) is high speed. My furnace doesn't use the red or 1 of the black wires.
