Review: Great - My dog simply went head over heels with this treat. I crumble them up in her food and that bowl is usually empty.
Review: Good quality, worth the price, the pet needs extra water with dry foods - It’s a bit pricey but my dog is 5 pounds. I use it as a topper and a treat. She didn’t like it at first so I sneaked a little in here and there; now she eats it. I have purchased chicken, also red meat versions. I started with the tiny bag. The first tiny bag came mostly crumbs with a 6 mo expiration date! Hmmm. The second came mostly whole pieces, with a year expiration. The third (this 9 oz bag) came half and half with a year out. The food is great quality, nothing poison. It’s real food, not dead kibble. If you add water, crumbles is ok. But there is one caveat when you serve dry dog food of any kind. The water is absent and your pet can become chronically dehydrated, which will eventually cause unnecessary kidney failure, so pleaseeee make sure it drinks enough to maintain kidney function. I looked for instructions on giving extra water if my dog forgets to drink. I used to have 2 Yorkies and my allopathic vet told me that dehydrated food has no effect on the kidneys. Well, that little Yorkie is gone today. A sad and unnecessary loss. I learned this from a homeopathic vet after it was too late. The food itself smells fairly neutral to me, but her ears go forward when she smells it. That’s a positive sign.
