Updated W10780048 Washer Suspension Rod Kit & W10400895 Suspension Springs

I have an older washer that was constantly going out of balance and would walk across my garage. After a little detective work I determined that the shocks had gone bad. I found a great tutorial on YouTube and replaced them. Now my washer runs like new again. It's an easy enough fix if you're handy individual. Completely eliminated all balance issues and noise. Fit perfectly and will hopefully last many more years.

Have done about 6 loads of laundry and from washer walking around my basement and sounding like machine gun going off ,to running like a new one again, so simple to install took about half hour to replace.

Fit well, comparable to OEM. Took about an hour install. TIP: Put a block or an upside down stainless bowl under the tub to raise it higher and take pressure off of the springs. Makes the job much easier. Fixed my dancing machine.

I thought I was going to have to purchase a new washing machine because mine would not spin due to it being unbalanced no matter how I balanced the contents. I did some online research and determined this was the part needed to fix my washer. Watched some videos on you tube to see how to change and was very successful. It was more difficult to get the old ones out than to put the new ones in. It says to have two people to change them out but I was able to do it by myself by proping the machine up on the front to change the front two and back to change the back two. Has worked well ever since. About 8 months now.

I used it on whirlpool washing machine, I’m not Plumer I watched the video on YouTube it was little hectic but I ínstaled it withe a help of a friend, so far it’s working good hope it last long

Fixed my washer, by myself, with these rods and a YouTube video! Works perfectly now, no more horrible banging.

Inexpensive, works as they should, easy to install Like I have a new washer. Quieted my washer right down and eliminated the loud violent shake. Definitely would buy again

I didn't really have much hope in my washer any longer and considered just tossing it out because it sounded possessed where it would smack the inside of the washer moving the entire machine around. But then I found these upgraded replacement suspension rods so I thought I'd give them a shot. Install wasnt too bad but not too easy either. Just glad I had an extra set of hands to hold the washer while it was tipped back. Just watch a video before attempting to tackle it and you'll be fine. I still have to be careful of overloading my washer because it still occasionally hits if there's too much weight, but the suspension rods definitely improved things, and saved me from having to get another washer. Been a couple of months and I've been through at least 20 loads with no issues👍
