Artist Watercolor, 15ml tube, Quinacridone Gold (W342)

Professional quality paint. Great value with lower prices. Very versatile paints. This fills a warm yellow on my limited palette. I achieve consistent results with Holbein paints.

Gorgeous bright color

This is a gorgeus paint, my favorite "quin gold." They still use PO48 and Nickel Azo Yellow and the mix creates a gorgeous yellow halo affect from the pigments separating. I don't know when they will run out of the quinacridone pigment, but this is so much nicer than any other brand or the no-quin versions.

This color is luscious! It starts off a light brownish color and with water, ends in this vibrant yellow-gold. It was recommended to me and I can see why.

I had never used Holbein products before. I am quite pleased with the q gold. It’s a nice color to add to blues for an earthy green and the price is reasonable. I have only started using this color, but am looking forward to trying different color combinations.

I've tried several brands of tube watercolor and this is the best. Aside from the colors, which are wonderful, when I first squeeze the tube, colors come out and not some oily drips first like the other tubes of color I've bought. So it is Holbein for me from now on.
