Is there a way to adjust cold/hot water to your preferred temp ?

Yes, the mixer allows adjustment. But since the mixer is next to the solenoid under the sink, it's not convenient to change the temp each time you use it.

After installation by a licensed plumber, the unit continually drips, water pressure is within acceptable range. Is the unit defective?

I did not use a plumber. My device does not drip.
