Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, 5 Medium Brown Hair Color, Pack of 3

I’ve been using this product for longer than I care to admit. It has gone through some formula changes so it isn’t exactly the same product I started using. That being said, I still use it. I find it easy to use, not so thin it drips and not so thick it goes on evenly and smoothly. I find I need to color my hair because of roots getting to long not because of color fading. As the formula changed the directions for use changes, so make sure you regularly check the directions. Biggest change, the amount of time you leave it on has shortened, which I appreciate. I feel my hair color is as close to my natural color as you can get. One negative with the formula changes, for about 3 days after coloring, the color comes off on my towel, so make sure you use an old towel to dry your hair.

Have used this hair dye more than 15 years ! Very nice and very good product! Highly recommended it !

Is it just my imagination, or did Clairol swap out the old, straight-forward instructions for new, more "hip" instructions? Because the following, found in my latest box of Medium Brown, had me laughing. *The new instructions for dying say "Choose Your Own Adventure! (roots only or entire head of hair)." *Pre-Color Checklist: "Get it girl! Are you ready for your new incredible color and shiny hair? We've got your back! ... Don't sweat the small stuff because we've got you covered! *Wait and Relax ... "Keep the good vibes flowing by doing something fun while you wait (watch your favorite TV show or listen to your favorite music)." *Treat & Dry: "When time is up (ding ding!), rinse until water runs clear...." and also "Dry off and admire your new incredible color & shiny hair for as long as you like. (We'll wait)! Don't you love it?"
