The pods are 5-6" long and have a purple dotty/ stripy appearance. High yielding compact plant that doesn't needs staking. Beans are well-known super-food and can be cooked in many different ways, including boiling, frying, and baking, and are used in many traditional dishes throughout the world. Sow Indoors: March – April Transplant: May – June Sow Outdoors: May – June Spacing: 15" between rows/ 6" between plants Harvest: July – October Soil - Well-drained and rich in organic matter. The packaging provides plenty of Information of when, where and care of the plants. I found the Germination to be excellent with no complaints on the amount of seeds and the colour/taste. As with most beans they loose their colour when cooked but that'd be a miracle of science if they didn't. They store well and are super easy to grow.
