It came with a pump which is awesome and it was easy to inflate. My only cons and why I gave it 4 outta 5 is because it is thin and does not allow for as much wiggle as would be desirable or cushion as hoped. I bought this as a wiggle seat AND cushion for my autistic/adhd Son's chair for homeschooling. My hope was getting the air cushion would provide the "wiggle seat" for sensory while aslo giving cushion without the higher price tag on other autism wiggle seats. This definitely works but it would be better if it was thicker and you could adjust the pressure more.
