Is it better to turn this purifier on all the time or turn on only during sleeping is okay?

How often should I replace the filter?

It depends on how often you will be using it. You can check what the filter looks like, you can tell also by the cover on the outside. We bought two early last year. One was on day and night, constantly on automatic, placed inside a room 3 times 210M so it obviously need replacement after one year. The other remains intact performing brilliantly turned on automatic only once we cook in the kitchen. The outside cover should give an idea and the filter can be checked for obvious replacement need. In summary, Black coal filter will be to be changed occasionally depending on use, regardless of their recommendation.
