Can this fuel pump be used as a bottom inlet and bottom outlet configured pump?

Not sure. Just get an electric. There cheep and much more efficient.

These vacuum fuel pumps are junk. Plug your vac line and just put an inline elec. You will never have another problem.

our onan performance 24 engine fuel pump has only 2 ports. one in, one out. What do I do with the extra 2 ports on this pump.

This is how I did it: Hold pump in hand so IN and OUT writing is upside down. The bottom left IN goes to the fuel tank and the top right OUT goes to the carburetor. The other two ports are not used and should be plugged to keep out dirt. To prove this, I used a "turkey baster" to hook to the vacuum line (opening at rear of pump) and squeezed the bulb several times to simulate crankcase vacuum. With the IN line dipped in gasoline, the gas should exit the carb opening (OUT line). Hope this helps.

Quality of product in question.

I ordered a carburetor kit , fuel pump and intake gaskets . Fuel pump is great 👍 The carburetor kit - the gasket and the 4 machine screws good . The float , needle valve was absolutely garbage/ unusable. If you need a carburetor gasket , just buy that separately. You are wasting your money and looking for more problems if you try using that off shore float !!! I'm automotive mechanic by trade . Save your money .
