Great product for the price.
This is a really nice pair of hard bags for the price. You do need to drill your own holes to mount and maybe get some spacers to mount the brackets on some bikes. Mine went on a 2012 Sportster Superlow. Depending on the bike, you may need to relocate directionals and get some spacers for shock clearance, etc. It's not difficult if you have some mechanical and fabricating skills. The bags are a good size and have decent locks. I'll probably paint mine eventually. The black finish is nice but my bike is white/maroon is I'll likely be painting them over the winter to match the rest of the bike. They seem sturdy enough.

Sid bags for the money
These bags are fairly solid after mounting. The universal mounts aren’t really universal, but they can be modified, and after a little persuasion I made a nice fit to my NC750X Honda. Make sure you get the mounts on before drilling any holes into the bags, as the mount holes on both sides turned out to be slightly different. Once you know your mounts are solid, then measure for the bag holes to line them up together for height and position fore/aft. No instructions, so your on your own. But they turned out mice. Despite the mounting challenges, the bags are roomy, look nice, and solid. I would recommend them for the average, mechanically inclined rider. If you’re unsure of your skills, pay the extra and get a set of mounts designed for your bike and pitch these mounts. I was happy with how they turned out.

Sturdy saddlebags
Pros:Good lookLots of spaceLocksHolds up very well even with heavy itemsDoesn’t block passenger pegs or ability to ride with.Cons:1) Takes a pretty significant amount of patience to install2) You have to drill your own holes on the side which can be frustrating given the limited space to get your measurements correct.3) Rubber pieces tear very easily

Decent for the price
Nice looking bags. Hard to install and get spacing just right. Plastic is flimsy and not rigid. Good for the price tho. Time will tell how they hold up. Update: I added some additional support for these bags by drilling another hole up from the top hole in the bracket to prevent the "wobble" the bags were doing. That helped tremendously! For the price and the look, they can't be beat. I ordered a second set as a backup. I would highly recommend these. If you are looking for some inexpensive saddle bags that look good and with a little ingenuity, these work great.

Know What You're Buying!
So I'm giving these five stars, for the price. You need to have the correct expectations here. These are $100 bags, not $500 bags. Yes, the plastic is cheap, the latches aren't the best, etc...but for $100 they're a great deal! You will have to have some knowledge of tools in order to get these bags on. You have to drill holes in the bags, you need to measure things to line them up correctly and so on.But I couldn't be happier with these bags. They don't look terrible, the price was right, and they work great!I added some heavy duty washers, about 2" in outer diameter to give these a little more stability. Make sure to use the rubber spacers that come with the kit. I did not install them on the one side and that bag wobbles significantly more than the one I did the correct way.You will also need to get longer bolts to attach the mounts to your fender, most likely. I just went to my local hardware store and matched them up.All-in-all these are a great deal in my opinion.

I can't believe it works, but it works
So before buying go watch a few YouTube videos on how it is, just so you're more comfortable with what you're buying. I have the HD 22 nightster, which from Amazon Vehicle preview setting showed I couldn't fit. After installing and ridding around with them, I say they can fit just about any motorcycle you have! The security on it is simple, but you may have to get the tops really set before locking otherwise the locking mechanism won't hold everything closed. I have rode with these saddle bags through nearly all sorts of weather and they keep their paint coating decently, it does scratch up easily. Now if your bike has tail lights/signal lights in the way, what I have done (shown in images) was thread my lights through the saddle bags and out on the sides so cars can still see them if I'm turn. Rather not have to spend more money on rear lights relocation set than just putting them somewhere visible. Overall, I like them, they make my small bike look like a mini touring and they have yet to fall off or fly open on the road

At least the mounting brackets are sturdy
I purchased these in May 2022 for my BMW R18. The plastic is cheap and within five months has already cracked where they attach to the mounts. The seller will not respond to inquiries about any potential warranty. The brackets are very sturdy and I will keep them even after I discard the saddlebags. The installation wasn't bad but there were no instructions to help so you need to be a bit of a MacGyver to get them to fit your bike. I used rubber bushing to settle some of the vibration of the bags when riding. I really can't recommend these because of the effort to install vs how long they last.
