I keep them in the fridge because otherwise my cats will somehow break into the cabinets, & carry a 1/2 clawed open bag to me in the bed at night. **Q: What are the expiration dates of packages when you get them? Do they expire fast or do they have a decent shelf life?** A: Our last package of Regional Red has an expiration date in September 2016, though our last package of Tundra (the other flavor we buy) expires in May of 2016. **Q: Is this like a mixed bag, or were they all squished together and then freeze dried?** A: All individual pieces.
