Review: Great Low-Toxic Nail Polish! - I bought this product with a mindset that it might not work out for me due to some of the reviews mentioning easy peeling after 24 hours of application. It probably does do that; HOWEVER, I also followed the reviews that mentioned needing to use the Base and Seal Coat. This, I am certain, made a difference in my experience. On my fingernails, using the base, color, and then sealer, the color lasted all of two days before it began to chip (this is the average for me with ANY nail polish I have ever had on my hands - even those applied by salons). The chipping/peeling color was minimal, and it was easy to apply another coat on top and just seal again. This stuff dries fast (a plus for busy women)! I got another 2-3 days of wear with it from doing that. On my toes, I used the same method of base, color, and sealer, and the color HAS NOT CHIPPED after 3 weeks of constant wear. I have not had to reapply or do anything more to it. I expect to get several more weeks of wear from this color on my toes. As for removal of the polish: this is difficult to do with a non-toxic nail polish remover. I did not buy the remover recommended by this company as I already had some non-toxic remover, so I cannot give an opinion as to whether that would have worked better or not. What I did instead was waited another 1-2 for the edges of the color to start peeling after I stopped reapplying, and then I just peeled it right off of my nail with no damage to my nail bed. Overall, I was very pleased with this product, and I will be investing in more colors from them! Review: Great color, no stink, lasts if done right with hairdryer, base- and topcoat - This green is a great color, kind of similar to the green of a Japanese beetle's wing. Bright enough for kids, but not babyish. I have it on right now, basecoat, then one layer of this green, then a layer of Piggy Paint's glitter bug silver, then topcoat. And it looks awesome, if I do say so myself. Which I do, since you're not here to admire it. I've switched exclusively to Piggy Paint for my toes. Bought it for the first time in that fit of pregnant paranoia about formaldehyde and estrogen-mimicking chemicals or whathaveyou, been a few years now so I forget the details. But I never wanted to go back to the stink of normal nail polish, especially since that pregnancy-related smell sensitivity never fully went away for me. This stuff has fun colors and lasts just as long as normal nail polish, if applied as follows. I always use the basecoat, 2 layers of color, and then the topcoat, with a full minute of hairdryer on hot for each foot in between coats. I polish after a shower and don't get wet until next day, and done this way, the paint lasts for weeks looking good, even with swimming in the pool and other active summer fun. (I don't bother painting my finger nails. I'm a gardener and no polish can stand up to that kind of abuse.)

We love this brand
We got this to paint our little girlโs nails for Christmas. We are really health conscious and appreciate that it is free of toxic chemicals. Our daughter was so excited to show everyone her nails. The paint seems to stay on well if the child gives it enough time to dry and harden before messing with it. It seems that the best use is to do it right before bed and use a blow dryer on it a bit. This gives it all night to set.

FUN COLOR!
Really cool color! It has a metallic shimmer to it. The color looks exactly like the picture shows it to be. Doesn't stink at all. Has a faint glue smell to it. Drys fast but i recommend you put on a top coat because it will chip kinda fast if your a rough with your hands. Shipping was fast as usual. Takes very little at a time and really spreads so be careful. Negative things: Its really thin so you will need a good 3 coats to make it really look good, chips fast so have a top coat ready, not the highest quality bottle. Overall you should get it. highly recommended.

Great kids nail polish!
My 3 1/2 year old daughter LOVES getting her nails painted but I wasn't ready for her to use grown-up nail polish yet because of the chemicals in it (and nail polish removers) and because of the potential mess it can cause. We have tried several shades of piggy paint and this one was one of our favorites. It gave very good coverage with only 1 coat and lasted quite a while. We found that some of the other colors (particularly the ones without shimmer in them) were quite thin and required several coats - but not this one. It also happens to be my daugher's favorite color.
