I've always used liquid but I wanted to try something different. My main concern was that bar soap doesn't last very long. However, I was wrong about that. I'll explain how to get this soap to last long. But first, the soap smells great and works great. I'll continue to buy this and highly recommend it. Here's how to make the soap last for months... 1. Cut it in half 2. Buy 2 "Soap Standles" on Amazon. They help the bar to dry out after use by allowing air to flow under it. 3. Use one half of the bar for a week then switch to the other half for a week. Keep swapping weekly. Remove the half you're not using from the shower to let it dry out. If you do this, the bar will last for a long time. Currently I'm closing in on 3 months using the same bar daily and I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts 4 months.
