Excellent for making a DIY electrolyte blend
As others have mentioned this does not taste great but I’m using for health to make a DIY electrolyte mix, and taste is not my main priority. This is a good quality potassium powder to use for optimizing electrolyte levels especially for keto, intermittent fasting and omad folks where getting our electrolytes right is critical. I literally spent hours researching all available options on Amazon, and weeded out almost every other option due to either lack of certification or cost. This one was the best. How to use: Dissolve it in 1/2 cup hot water then 8 ounces water total. Mix with sodium and / or magnesium for DIY electrolyte powder at a fraction of the cost. Add citric acid and stevia to improve the flavor, or raw dog it without any additives if you can put up with a salty bitter tasting liquid. How much to use? Depends on what you’re using it and what your body weight etc. I’m using 1/8 teaspoon right now but that might change. In all honesty I’m checking with ChatGPT and based on my symptoms (heart palpitations after fasting, it gave me the perfect answer which was take a 1/4 teaspoon of sodium, (dissolved in water) then if palpitations continue, add 1/8 teaspoon potassium (dissolved in water). Worked perfectly, and palpitations stopped completely in about 20 mins. Once my fasting is more stable I’ll find the right ratio to mix into a balance of sodium + potassium + magnesium, but for now I’m being more deliberate to manage GI symptoms. A good reason to create your own “DIY” electrolyte powder instead of using pre-packaged ones. Almost all pre-packaged electrolytes have a lot of non-necessary additives that are inappropriate for those who are being very intentional with every single molecule they intake, which is even more important during fasting period.

Good product
Potassium is critical for a body and when I don't get enough I get muscle cramps in my legs at night. As long as I take a 1/4 teaspon a day of this potassium citrate powder (mixed in a drink or with yogart) I have no issues with cramping. It is a good product and it works.

Much better than expensive electrolyte packets or potassium supplements
Electrolyte packets are almost scams; you pay nearly a dollar per packet that contains a few cents worth of ingredients. Buying ingredients like this directly is much much more cost effective! It’s also better than dedicated “potassium supplements” because pill-form supplements can only contain a tiny amount of potassium (2%) for safety reasons. Mixing potassium citrate into a drink allows you to get 13-25% of your potassium target in a single beverage. Just mix it with something to mask the flavor!

So far so good
All the taste is strong. I like the fact that you don't need that much to get 500 milligrams. I usually put the powders in my coffee, but this thing is very very strong tasting.

Good for my dog
Recommended by my vet for my dog

Got of BP meds using this.
The powder allows one to get a substantive amount. I used this to get of BP meds. My Dr is perplexed by this, sort of sad that something so simple is beyond his 'allopathic medicine brain'. I tried various RX BP meds over the years, this is the first thing that actually worked.

Good potassium supplement
Good source to get added potassium. I would have needed to take about 36 99mg capsules to get the dosage the doctor wanted me to take. Much easier to take 1/2teaspoon. Doctor recommended it to me.

Leg cramps be gone
Seems to help keep away leg cramps. I put some in my oj, but most days add about 3/4 teaspoon in my coffee.

Yikes, consumed a whole bottle of citric acid!!!
Warning for those who don't want to consume citric acid- made from black mould... Look what I found- Potassium citrate A salt made from citric acid + potassium Used as: a supplement (electrolyte, kidney stone prevention) a medication a food additive (buffer, preservative)
