Is the consistency in the container supposed to be like hard wax? When I bought this from a stylist, it was like wax.

It isn't hard. It is soft and sticky. In my experience, it gets harder the older it is. It is difficult for me to use if it isn't soft.

What am i doing wrong? it did nothing but make my hair look gunky. no hold, no spiking nothing.... even on the short hair on my head is didn't spike

I do not think this will achieve spiking effect. This is a wax like paste and works great to give texture but on it's own, it does not have spiking hols capabilities. I would rub a very small amount between my palms till it it not sticky the work it into my hair. If I am styled and want to add texture, I light touch the tips or group of hair. If I want to ise it as a base, I apply onto damp hair and style then finish with hair spray. Never apply directly without softening in your palms and never use to much. You acan add more, but cannot take away.

It is not the black & green,it's the old stuff.

Would this worl for a pompadour?

I find this works well. I have very short hair and yes this does work for a pompadour. This is the only product I have been using for a couple of years.

Everyone love my hair when I style with it with DIFI and that it only takes a few minutes to style my hair and it last for ever. I tell everyone what the product is ,DIFI with the Lime green lid. I will never use another product !

Quality Product for any hair type

Great value for money, very easy to use and holds hair in place very well. My hairdresser uses this on me and I had to go out and buy it for myself. You can easily use it over 100 times when applied in small amounts. Makes the hair glow and look textured.
