I have a new car which I purchased 5 months ago. The leather seats were giving an awesome typical smell until recently when I noticed the smell started to fade out. I bought these and put one under the back seat and the effect was immediate. People coming into the car again started reacting to the smell and praising it as in the first couple of months I had the car. the smell lasts for about a month and with the quantity of pads you get in the package you have for months and months of fresh new leather car scent for a decent price. I tried others in the past which were much less effective and the smell was less close to the real thing. I definitely recommend these. EDIT I came back to add a little disappointment: the package closure isn't as hermetic as it should be and so once you open it to take out the first pad, as hard as you try to lock it back in to keep the smell in for the remaining pads, it apparently flows out a bit and eventually you really sense after a while that the rest of the pads are much less powerful in their scent. I would strongly suggest you find a way to lock them into a hermetic box so as to keep in the leather aroma as strong as initially. Still I would buy these again just keep them more properly next time around. I do hope the manufacturer finds a better closure solution in the future either by individually wrapping each pad or by changing the closure mechanism of the overall package for proper reusability.

Lasts for a month. I’ve Never had a car freshener last so long. Sooooo worth the money!

I have used these for many years ( Fresh & Clean) and have always purchased directly from Auto Scents however, I thought I would order from Amazon this time, it might have been a few dollars less. So I did notice with this batch, the scent was not as strong as usual and did not last as long . I don't think these came directly from Auto Scents. Slightly disappointed but not enough to stop using these and they do have great scents! My future purchases will be directly from Auto Scents for these.

Absolutely no scent! Or, to be more accurate, ALMOST no scent unless you put your nose right up to the individual mesh packet. I spread 12 of the individual mesh packets all around my car (4 door sedan). Not only was I unable to detect a scent -- even on the first day -- but neither was anyone else. Over the course of a few days, and several different passengers, not a single one of them could detect a scent. The reason I didn't return them was, having spread 12 of them in my car on day one, I figured there'd be no point. I don't like returning items if I've opened them, and I kept thinking 'maybe it's just a bad batch, or just me who can't smell them". But I should've.

Smells great! Can't wait to try some of the other ones

I’ve bought these a couple of times and have always been very satisfied with the scent but this batch they don’t really last. Can smell the scent for a couple days even if you use several. It sure if it’s a bad batch or they changed the “formula”.

Scent is a personal preference, but I must say this is most "natural-smelling" leather air freshener I've tried. It smells good! It requires about 4-5 pads in my F-150 cab for the scent to be to my liking.
