DaToo Small Aquarium Heater 50W Mini Fish Tank Heater 50 Watt Submersible with LED Temperature Display

Super easy to set up, works very fast, my turtle will move it around but it doesn't bother him, doesn't trap grime but I still rinse it every now and again. I am still not sure how to set a temp but it gets the water to 82° extremely fast.

I was skeptical at first, but this heater is amazing! It doesn’t take up a lot of space, very easy to put in the tank, and heats up the water quickly. We love it and our fish love it! Highly recommend!

I usually keep cooler water fish so keeping the room warmer is normally enough but I wanted to get back into bettas so I wanted an independent heater. Only ever messed with the older tube models and hated them. #1 reason why I love this model is it has a plastic cage around the heating core so no fish or fry can touch it. #2 external temp control, don't have to reach into the tank and twist the top or risk touching the heater to adjust temperature. #3 live LED temperature readout so I don't need any sort of thermometer in the tank. My ONLY complaint with this unit is how long is it gonna last. If it lasts a good while or a few months down the road is still kicking strong I'm definitely gonna get more of these if needed. Awesome little heaters for 9$ off my initial impressions. Hope it lasts a while.

I have so many of these. I have wasted so much money on other ones. I would rate a 10000 percent if I could.

I got this heater because my mystery snail and betta fish were living in the arctic thanks to our AC having to run full blast in our lovely FL weather. At first it worked great, the temperature control feature is nice, it stuck to the side of my little tank and kept the temp set to the correct temperature. Now however, it won't raise the temperature past 72 degrees (room temp), my snail died and my betta fish is working his way out the door. So... I'm not so sure about this little thing. I liked it cause it didn't take up a lot of space and it was easy to use, but I feel like it failed pretty quickly and now I need to return it and try something else.

This product is small and portable which is very convenient. This is my first time using this product. I am using it on a DIY incubator for my pet turtle base on the recommendation from YouTube. The setting is simple and very easy to use. Just plug, set, and done. The temperature lighting though kept fluctuate up and down. I don't know if that is normal, but I give it a good faith to continue using it hoping that it does work properly according to the post online by the seller. The suction does not stick very well to any surface but glass. If this product design come with multiple surfaces suction or way of attaching it, then it will be much more convenient and stand out. The price is decent on average. The price balance with the product if it lowers by $4.00USD. This price would be better match if it comes with a 100Watt. I did not take any photos on the product, but it is as described by the seller.

If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased this product at the beginning of Nov 2023 and now it's is mid March 2024. Within 4.5 months the display has broken leaving the first number visible and the second number half visible. (It was fine last night when I checked it) On top of this I have had this heater consistanly set to 74° with a thermometer in the tank reading between 72°-74° (this is in a 5 gal tank) Today I left for work as normal and came home to the temperature set at 74° although half the 4 is cut off due to the display breaking... The display read 77° I believe (again hard to verify with the broken display) and the thermometer in the tank is reading 79°. Thank god I came home when I did or I would have come home to a lot of cooked critters!! One of the shrimp is carrying eggs and I would have been devastated. This product is extremely unreliable. I am positive if I did not step in and unplug it when I did all the inhabitants of this tank would have met their demise. On top of all of this I cannot return the product anymore, and it only lasted 43 days longer than the return eligibility date. I do not recommend this product. It's size is very appealing for a small tank but it is not worth the risk. The amount of time and money spent on all the animals and plants in your tank is worth a reliable heater.
