fit as expected

If you're having trouble with your computer shutting down, there is a switch near the caddy connector you need to move to the opposite side. this will alllow your pc to shutdown. i had to search for a bit. i thought it was the settings in my pc. that wasnt the case.

Had some busted parts sticking out from the side. Tried to cut it off but ended up making the unit worthless. Cheap piece of junk. I tried to fix it but made things worse. Nothing like finding a loose spring in the wrapping too.

Comes with all the needed hardware, and a tiny screwdriver. The fit was a little snug on my 8640p, there was some resistance getting it into place, but at no point did it feel like I was going to damage my laptop.Works as expected.

Fast ship and works as described on HP 8470p. You can't ask for more. I am going to purchase another one so I can create a Linux image on a another SSD.

I love it. I had concerns with using it with my laptop. Hp elite book 8470p fit fine, accepted my 2.5 2t wd harddrive as a secondary drive. No issues.
