I was told if I dye my hair blonde it will dry my hair out even more than it is now but would this brand be alittle safer

I don’t believe so. If you put a thin line of Vaseline around the face near hairline it should keep the color from staining around that areas.

yes, mabe soft highlights in the front, and on the center back around the edges lightly, front and back of head, u will rock.
