Our usual drives are fine with him in the back seat on a blanket, and with a seatbelt clip leash attached to his harness. But: this time we were doing a PROPER road trip: 16 hours of driving from London to Sweden. So he’d be bored senseless and stuck in the car for hours at a time. I decided it was worth investing in this slightly-overly-pampering car seat in the hope that it would keep him comfy and calm. And it worked like a dream! Easy to assemble and to attach securely to the seat. He slept most of the way (don’t worry - bathroom breaks etc were frequent), and he was snug as a bug in a rug. SO pleased I decided to buy this bed/seat - 2 thumbs and 4 paws up from us!
