If power is cut to the device, does the timer reset, or will it continue where it left off?

The timer is set by mechanical dials so if the power goes out it will reset to whatever you have the device set to.

When this timer turns on and off, how loud is the click? Some timers can be heard in adjacent rooms.

I would say it is pretty quiet. I can hear mine if I am in the living room (that is where mine is), but can not hear it in the kitchen (about 4-5 feet away and no walls in between. Can only really hear it if I am trying to.

Need a timer for every 5 seconds on and off for the Auger on a pellet stove will this device work?

That's what I use it for an it works great I have four of them one is for the auger motor for the fan and then I have waste oil and I have another on top of waste oil to regulate the solenoid for every five seconds per one minute

So could operate a fan to say turn it on for 10 second every 2 minute? Off for 2 min, on for 10 seconds, rinse-repeat continuously?

Set it and forget it for my hydroponics

Fantastic. Simple. Easy to use!

Super easy to setup and use. I tried different timers - one mechanical timer where I could setup for 30 minutes on and thirty minutes off. That one was OK but I really needed 20 minutes off followed by 20 minutes on continuously. This timer is perfect for my application, not only doing the 20/20 cycle, but it will allow for adjustments like 25 minutes on and 15 off. Fantastic!
