First impressions are good. We'll see how it ages (I'll update if needed), It all seems nicely made no rough edges. For less than £9 you can't really go far wrong even if it last a year it's good value. The plastic is of good quality the seat is comfy and warmer than my previous hard plastic one. It has a soft close hinge and is all plastic including its fixing points. It appears everything is designed with hygiene in mind. It's stable, looks good and the soft close hinge works well. Installation is a breeze so easy anyone can do it if they have even the smallest of DIY skills. I didn't even wait for my Hubby to come home and did it myself. Getting the old seat off was the hardest part, after 17 years the screws were solid but I managed to do the whole job in less then an hour (fitting the new seat taking less than ten minutes) the fixings on the new seat are fully adjustable both for width and forward and backward motion.

I bought this to replace a similar one I installed 2 years ago. Prior to that I had endless trouble with more expensive wooden seats moving all over the place due to flimsy metal attachments. This one is just as sturdy and comfortable to sit on. Very easy to install, and a bargain if it lasts 2 years. The only reason I changed it's predecessor was a slight crack that appeared on the seat. I've kept the plastic fittings which I find sturdier thant metal ones. When the time comes I'll definitely replace it with another one. Great value at £7.49

Good seat, fits flush to the bowl and doesn't move around or bang if left to close, but rubbish instructions. May as well day "fit seat" and nothing else. I had to have my partner figure it out and usually I'm good at this type of thing. The fittings are easy enough once you figure it out, though.

Well it's a toilet seat... It's cheap, not particularly heavy duty, very soft plastic that scratches at the slightest touch, and anything more than finger tight sees the fitting nuts de-thread. But considering the very cheap price, it works, closes slowly and quietly, and it's only ever gonna be used for putting arses on for short periods of time, so what more does it need to do. So yeah, it's cheap and cheerful, does what it needs to, could be a lot better, but then could also cost a lot more so fair price for something that dors what it needs to... With that fixing issue though I wouldn't trust it to stay put under a heavyweight backside.

Have this installed about 2 year. While it's not the most expensive looking seat, its solid as heck. Was very very easy to fit, simple actually. And hasnt moved much or needed much adjusting for the 2 years service it's had so far. And I'm a big guy so it's definitely decent Cleaning is fine stays without any of that pink/block mould you might see on other models. Soft close works well. Top marks
