My DNA suggests that I have a dna link, via a haplagrouping, that a certain pharoah and I are connected and so I was pleased to learn that I could have an authentic egyptian cartouche with my name crafted in hieroglyphics, in Egypt, and for a very reasonable price. I was concerned that the item would not arrive on time for my birthday but it actually arrived six days early and nowhere near the projected Amazon shipping date. I am very pleased with this item. The craftsmanship is very apparent. The seller is very dependable and, again, the cost was very reasonable. Always remember, when paying some other artist for their skill and time and so on, price should not always be a roadblock to getting something desired. Amazon sent me another request to review this item after I had already done so. This time I am submitting a picture of my cartouche, again which I am very pleased with. I changed the chain to the black one shown because the one sent looked too feminine. I read someone else's review where they were dissatisfied with "tarnishing" and I am not experiencing this issue with mine (at the present time).

I ordered this cartouche for my wife ,it was a suprise to her .She had no idea it was comming untill it arrived. When she opened the package,she was stuned and amazed at its beauty and craftsmanship all at the same time .I told her it was her name in hieroglyphic and hand made in Egypt. The neckless is made of sterling silver and comes with a book explaining all the symbols as they pertain to her name.It is fast becomming her favorite neckless,she wears it every where .It is a hand made one of a kind itam ,so the wait is a little long ,but that just adds to the enjoyment when presented.I ordered the chain too ,as a set it is great ,no hunting for the right chain

I ordered it for my granddaughter name. II was really surprised how well made. The most important thing for me was it made in Egypt. My granddaughter loves it so much.

Absolutely beautiful! Very detailed with exquisite craftsmanship. Includes a card that has an explanation of the symbols and the sounds they represent which is very informative and fun to read. Estimated delivery was Oct 5 - 23, which I thought was reasonable seeing it was made and shipped from Egypt. It actually came early, arriving on September 29. I've wanted one of these for a long time and was leary about ordering this online so I looked at a lot of dealers. I feel that I made the right choice. I would definitely order from these artists again.

Bought for each of my daughters and they loved them. The craftmanship is very nice and looks beautiful with a nice sterling silver chain. My only gripe would be that it takes several weeks to receive, since the jewelry is customized (with the person's name). This pushed delivery past Christmas, which was disappointing. That said, love the look and feel of the jewelry.

I ordered this, along with a 22" chain as a present, and it is exactly as expected. Although, in hindsight, I should have ordered the 24" length chain, this does not in anyway inhibit my rating though, as the quality is top notch and the price is hard to beat Just a word of caution, if you do not live in the US, once you place your order, you may find the expected delivery date changes completely, as mine jumped from estimated Dec3-16, up to Dec 17-31, and there was no warning of this until after the order was finalized. I was lucky enough to receive it much sooner than that second estimation, but as it was for a Christmas gift, I might have thought twice if had known there was a chance it would not arrive before the 25th.

I was given a cartouche last year and I loved it. My niece is always complimenting me on it, so I decided to get her one for Christmas. Unfortunately something screwed up when I ordered it and there was no place to put her name. When I received a notice that my item had shipped I contacted the seller and Pam the woman who helped me could not have been nicer! She told me that used my name, but would immediately send me out another one in my niece's name and that I should keep the other as a gift from them. The one with my name arrived today and it is just beautiful and exactly what I expected. I will definitely order again!

It’s a gift for my granddaughter’s 16th birthday. Wanted to find something unique like her. It’s very well made and came with a little pamphlet explaining what the hieroglyphs stand for. The price seemed very reasonable.
