Progressive Guitar Method, Book 1: Tablature

Expected the book to arrive in a couple of weeks and that worked. Received the book in a couple of days! Even better than expected. Thank you so much.

Great book, but it never 'PROGRESSED' beyond the very beginning level. I looked again and couldn't find anywhere in the definition of the book what level it covered (other than 'Book 1').

Lots of info, exercises, diagrams and photos. Takes you through the strings one at a time, then deals with some important musical concepts. Covers strumming, picking, staff, tab and other topics. Good complement to the Hal Leonard books.

I use this method book for teaching all my guitar students tablature. It's a wonderful book.

It's a good way to learn guitar through tablature form. So far I am only up to chapter 4, but it's working fine..

Bought this book years ago while learning guitar at school, learnt the sheet music version and it didn't come with the DVD or CD then forgot practically everything years later. TAB is music easier to relearn things you have forgotten.A comprehensive, lesson by lesson introduction to the guitar covering notes on all six strings.Teaches music reading, picking technique & basic music theory: note values ,sharps ,flats & the chromatic scale but not the pentatonic scale though.

Ordered for lessons at school. just the ticket.
