I was able to use this with the HDMI from my laptop to my TV. It doesn't convert the size correctly but close enough.

So I read many reviews stating that this product does not work and thought, people are not setting this up correctly or something simple. Is there a trick to which ports I need to plug the cable into? I ask for two reasons one being that all cables of this type have horrible reviews on amazon and I couldn't imagine amazon selling bunk products. I also ask this because I have had a RGB cable issue before, and right as I was about to give up, I read a review where someone noted that switching two colors was needed, I did and right away the correct image appeared on my screen. Anyone know of this? But so far the cable is not in working order and is a complete waste of money. The construction of the Cord is solid, durability seems to be reasonable with well put together connector ends. Functionally the signal is lost and I have no output. No tech specs are provided for frames per second, or setup guild is missing. If I can get cable to work I will alter my review in the future.

Piece of Garbage. It does not work. It should have the correct colors on the RCA ends, Red, Green Blue Red White. It is missing a red. It has a yellow. No matter how many sets of components or combinations, this is NOT a HDMI to RCA converter. It sends no signal. Lord, what a waste of time. Don't waste your $10.

Christmas morning came and my boys were ready to play their new PS4 only to find out the HDMI to RCA cable would not work. After seeing the original reviews I guess I should have not taken the chance on this product.
