I bought a pair of the Ensley nightstands to replace much cheaper nightstands in a guest bedroom; the old stands were sun faded and showing their mileage. I chose Mopio because the mid-century modern look works well in that room and the bed is low, so I needed nightstands that match. I read the many positive reviews, so I my expectations were high when boxes arrived, but I was still surprised at the product quality. The walnut laminate is seamless and does a convincing impersonation of solid wood; even the touch and the weight feels right. Surfaces you will never see once the unit is assembled are still fully laminated and as beautiful as the outside. No corners cut to fatten margins here. Nice touch, Mopio! Some RTA furniture comes out of the box smelling like a glue factory. If you've purchased Ikea's RTA pieces over the last 10 years you know what I mean. Not this product; I didn't catch even a whiff of adhesive as I opened the box and laid out the pieces. The pieces are covered with a very thin layer of fine dust left over from manufacturing and packing. It wipes off easily with a slightly damp cloth. Assembly is easy enough. The instructions are good, the pieces are cut with precision and everything goes together as you expect. There was only one thing about these nightstands that is less than outstanding: the drawer hardware. Was there anything wrong with it? Not really; it's the standard hardware you find on lots of pieces from Ikea, Target or other stores that sell RTA furniture. But here's the thing: the rest of the nightstand is SO nicely made and beautiful to look at that the uneven pull and wobble of regular nylon rollers plus metal guides feels unsatisfying. I don't knock Mopio for that; they have made a fantastic product at a good price point. It will be easy to upgrade the drawer hardware later as a DIY project if I decide to do that.

These are the best side tables we’ve ever purchased - modern, functional, and elegant. The rounded corners definitely help prevent accidental scrapes. Got a set for both bedrooms.

While these are made of particle board, the laminate, fit and finish, and final product are excellent. These are heavy and well designed. It took about 1.5 hours to put both together. Very happy with final product- it has the Mid Century Modern look I was looking for and looks like a high end piece of furniture. After putting them together I noticed there is at least an inch of space between the back end of drawer and back of inside of cabinet. Perfect spot IF you wanted to attach an envelope to store papers, cards, cash, etc where it would be well hidden. Very happy with them- they look easily double what they cost.

These are beautiful once built, but it’s very easy to mix up a step in the instructions halfway through which messes up the track for the drawer to slide in. Instructions could be clearer. They are solid, especially for the price.

the quality is so good!! this is perfect as your bedside table but i used mine as a side table for our living room i just wish it was a little bit higher but other than that this is such a beautiful piece of furniture and the perfect color for walnut!!

Love these! Exactly as pictured. I feel like these are typical height bedside tables, but my bed is a standard platform bed. I think I'm a fairly handy woman, I bought the set of 2 and it took probably an hour per table. Instructions are easy to follow and it came with all pieces, holes drilled, etc. I could be on my own, but I did up the drawer pull on upside the first time which is why in my first photo you can see the drawer is deeper instead of flush. Very sturdy set. Looks expensive without breaking the bank. Would buy again!

For the money I spent I expected better build quality. I also didn’t expect the color to be as different in my case than the images provided. Overall it felt cheap, wobbly, and the drawers weren’t secure and shaky. I decided to return the product, but was met with many questions about my order, taking photos of the product after packing them, re-explaining my issue, and most of all paying to ship it back to Canada. Even then I am still not hopeful they will give me a full refund. Shop elsewhere. Buyer beware.
