Amino X Recovery Powder with BCAAs, Fruit Punch, 70 Servings

I have ordered 3 tubs total of this stuff now (recently putting myself on a subscription to lower the cost and get it consistently). This is actually one of the lowest cost BCAA's per gram that I've found. It contains 70 servings of 10 grams. That's 700 grams for under $40. A quick search here on Amazon shows that all other products to hit that 700 gram product hit the $50, and then well over that! This is not expensive. It's actually the most affordable, but really depends on what you want. If you're looking for the bigger servings that this offers (10g) then this is a no brainer. Still, I would argue if you want less than that, this is still the one to get. All you'd have to do is take the measuring scoop and mark off where is half and a quarter, and you'll have your 5g and 2.5g servings. For those of you that do intermittent fasting, get this. You want to be taking this pre-workout to remain in a fasted state, while still being able to maintain and preserve your muscles. This will allow you to burn fat during your workouts and not worry about losing any precious muscle. As for taste, I finally ordered watermelon flavor (and I'll update it when I get try it out), but I've only had the fruit punch. At first, I loved the taste of this, but it's begun to wear on me. It's extremely sweet and I just try to chug it now. It's not unbearable, as supplements go. I think we've all had our fair share of nastiness when it comes to certain products. This isn't that. I'd give it a 6/10 on taste. I'm hoping watermelon delivers. Still, if you're looking for the most cost effective product, this is it. That is surprising, too, considering how this brand is known for its excellent quality. It still is, by the way, excellent quality. Get this. You won't regret it.

It's funny because I actually hate any fruit punch flavored things, but this supplement is one of my favorites, it's like a sweet treat for either during my workout or post gym, I have a big sweet tooth and this helps me satisfy that craving, it has a great balance between being sweet and a bit sour, tastes like candy in a bottle.

Good product

I was worried when I bought this product that the taste would not be great. I have tried many products that have not tasted delicious. I am very picky. I want my fruit punch to taste like Hawaiian Punch. This does not taste exactly like Hawaiian Punch, but it is the closest I have found. It does not have an after taste either. The difference between this and Hawaiian Punch is that it has a bit of fizz to it. WARNING: Do not shake this product in a shaker bottle; it will spray like shaking a soda. I did not realize this. That is why it only gets 4 stars. I made a big red mess in my kitchen. I had to scrub the red color to come off of my kitchen wall paint. It did not clean up very easily. HOW I USE: I pour my water about 12-16 ounces, add one scoop, stir with a knife carefully. I also use a cup with about 24 ounces of water, so it does not make another mess when it fizzes. ANOTHER NOTE: It takes some time for all the powder to get mixed into the water stirring with a knife. If you have the patience to stir, this really is a great tasting product.

Refreshing taste, mixes easily, and helps with muscle recovery after workouts. Good value for training support.

The reason I bought this is mainly for recovery. I work out about 4-5 days a week with cardio and 30 minutes of lifting weights. I sweat like crazy when I work out and noticed I was having a hard time rehydrating after my workouts. As a result, my muscles were seriously suffering. I’d be sore for days on end. This totally messed up my weightlifting schedule because it would be too painful to lift anything for extended time periods. My first day trying this I was slightly put off by the overall design of this. I’m a woman with smaller hands, but the opening of the container is awkward and messy. I can barely get my hand into the container to scoop anything. It should definitely be wider. I get powder all over the counter. As for the taste, I have to say the first taste tasted like cough medicine. I was pretty sad because I really wanna be able to enjoy this product. I do not recommend fruit punch. Once I managed to sip this down, I got somewhat used to the flavor. I enjoy that this is not caffeinated. I think this does an overall good job at serving its purpose, but if I had the chance to do it over, I would try something different.

Not worth I am not sure about impact as BCAA as I am trying first time but taste is not for everyone. It's difficult to gallop down medicine kind of taste.
