Mens Medieval Steampunk Tailcoat Halloween Costumes, Velvet Victorian Tuxedo Jacket Gothic Vintage Frock Coat

I used this jacket as part of my Lady Captain Hook costume. It was an excellent choice for that. The sleeves aren't too tight and the length is great! I added some gold ribbon down the front to give it a bit more pizzazz. (I would have added some on the sleeves but I ran out of ribbon.) When i got it the buttons needed tightening so i did that (i know how to do some basic sewing bit for someone who does not possess that skill this may be a problem). This is one of those costume pieces that i would wear in public without being in costume. Would definitely recommend. (I ordered a large- I'm 5 foot 3 inches, 200 pounds.)(Also important to note- there are pictographs under the size tag telling you how to wash it. I used Google and various websites to tell me what they meant. I washed it as directed and it was fine.)

Short and sweet... The coat is a cool style and serves the purpose for why I bought it. The construction is good and should hold up to normal wear and tear. I really wanted to write this review more for the sizing because items like this are so hard to predict proper fit. The coat is size medium. I am 5'8". 175lbs with an athletic build. The coat fits me perfect. That said, there is no room to grow either so if you are near my size but have a some belly in the front or are really broad shouldered you won't have any room in this coat and should probably look at a large. Hope that helps..!!

Bought this for teen son. He normally wears XL in men's sizes but they were out in the green so I ordered XXL. I'm glad I did as even it fits just a tad snug through the torso. The sleeves are a little long, but that's easily adjusted where the cuff attaches to the sleeve.Besides fit, the quality is great. Much nicer than many costume pieces and is fully lined. It even came with two spare buttons. The collar and cuffs are a woven jacquard in a scrolling design.The velvet is a bit wrinkled from being folded up for shipping so we are hoping that just hanging it up in the steamy bath during a shower will help those to release. Son loves it and is excited to use it for dressing steam punk or even as pirate captain. Am considering getting a second one for him in the blue.

Was a little bigger than I expected based on the sizing charts provided. However, with a couple adjustments, it now fits perfect. I'm very pleased with the style, quality, and now the fit of the garment. I would buy it again if needed, but I would definitely get a size smaller than what I originally bought.

Jacket fits perfectly. I'm typically a large and it fits like a glove. Very nice. Looks very expensive.. Can't wait to wear it for our costume party !!!! Thank you again for selling such a cool item that looks vintage at a fraction of the cost....

Vampire desire? Go for it! This is not a cheap crap costume this is the real deal!
