RE1090697EA - Respironics Inc Amara View Headgear, Standard Size

Got this for my wife. It seems to work better than the original. Not sure why, but all has been good for some time now.

Gladly I will give 5 stars for this Headgear strap. Same as my original Headgear strap. I was hoping for the best and would like this strap even If it was close to the original. When I got it, I placed the new one beside the original and put the straps in the same place as my original. It was a perfect fit and did not adjust any straps. The whole Headgear w/ cushions felt so better and helped with my leaks. I did not realize that just getting a new headgear strap would make such a difference with the feel of the whole cpap gear. I thought just cleaning my old straps was ok but I realize they get too soft & worn out (especially velcro) with no support for the cushion.

Extremely easy to use, and durable as well.

My fix for when Velcro stops sticking is to take a half inch strip of double sided Velcro and cut it down to the size needed and sandwich it between the original Velcro in the strap. This works great and adds months of use to the headgear. My apologies for the lack of articulation.

All fit and worked better than expected.

The Velcro doesn't stick and you have to keep moving it until you run out of material and the Velcro just doesn't stick anymore. It's very frustrating when you're sleeping a piece lets go. The cost is too high for a piece of material with Velcro and magnets.

Works as it should average price

Although I ordered the "medium" it is smaller size than the medium straps that come with the whole face mask. Having said that, the size still works and seems to fit just fine. Much cheaper cost than if I purchased directly from health company.
