It's awesome to get some airflow beneath my vest and not feel like I'm shrink-wrapped. The product does it's job, it does it well, and I wear it every shift under my vest. The product did run a little large so I had to exchange for a size down. The original version didn't allow you to adjust the distance from back to front (the straps that go over your shoulders) so it didn't always sit as I'd have liked. The second one I bought (so I could have a spare and launder it more-frequently), did have adjustable shoulder straps which made fit much nicer—the material also felt better but that could just be because it was new. It does shift around a bit so I will have to adjust it every so often, mildly irritating. I wish they made one I could just hook (like Velcro) into the vest so I only had to put on one thing instead of two. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wears a vest and I have.

The Militaur adjustable ventilation vest definitely helps with airflow and comfort during long shifts. It creates just enough space between my uniform and my ballistic vest to let air move through, which keeps me noticeably cooler, especially on hot days or when working outdoors. The material feels durable and well made, and once it’s adjusted properly it stays in place without shifting around. The only issue I’ve noticed is that it sticks out slightly at the bottom of my vest. It’s not a huge problem, but it’s noticeable and takes away from the clean look of the uniform a bit. Other than that, it works exactly as described and has made wearing my vest much more comfortable. If you run an exterior vest and deal with heat or sweat, this is still a solid buy. The airflow improvement easily outweighs the small cosmetic trade-off.

the price for this product is honestly pretty high, this shape and design is made more for people who wear small plate vest carriers, i work in the armored truck industry and the vests that are provided to us are full chest abdomen and full back coverage size vest, wearing this ventilation vest took a bit off the edge, but only a bit, in triple digit weather and lame company trucks with 0 air conditioning i can feel sweat dripping and collecting in my lower abdomen and lower love handle area, it definitely had the area of my upper body totally dry but unless you can produce TRUE 2xl 3xl 4xl size vent vests, i ordered a 2xl and fit like a medium size crop top i'm a 270 lbs guy shy of 6 ft frame and ended up taking off the militaur vest it made my company vest to bulky and bulge out to much to not have the cooling effect i was looking for, if you can make your vests a good 4-6 inches longer in length that would the the key to the flaw this vest has, a cut to fit would be a nice idea too, hope this review helps

Works as advertised and cheaper than the alternative options. It will keep you cooler and keep your vest from getting saturated in sweat, which means you won't need to wash it as frequently for multiple reasons. I would recommend it to friends and coworkers. It also came with velcro patches for easy adherence.

I’m extremely disappointed with this product and the company behind it. The logo alone is enough to make me question their judgment and values it depicts a bull holding a noose, which is highly inappropriate and offensive. Imagery like that is not only distasteful but also insensitive, and it reflects poorly on the brand as a whole. Beyond the product itself, which didn’t stand out in any positive way, I can’t support a company that thinks this kind of branding is acceptable. There are plenty of alternatives out there that don’t rely on questionable or disturbing imagery. I won’t be purchasing from this company again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

As sweaty as it can get with a vest, I decided to inVEST in this product before my duty vest arrived when I made the transition from the ole Sam Browne. My first time using it, I work it directly under the vest, outside of my uniform shirt. That was two layers of clothing that were against my upper body to trap sweat. The second day I decided to wear it on top of my undershirt, underneath my uniform shirt. There was a drastic difference. This vent vest keeps the uniform shirt and duty vest away from the majority of the upper body, with only the undershirt contending with sweat. But with the ventilation, it keeps cooler and promotes quicker drying. Great product, well-made, and worth the investment to add quality of life to your duty attire.

I have been working in the security field for a decade and wish I came across this ventilation vest sooner. Summer heat , or just prolonged periods of time wearing a vest, you are going to get sweaty, especially as a patrol guard or a highly active position where your constantly on the move. I am a patrol guard doing 12 hour shifts wearing body armour the whole time. I would be soaked in sweat even just after the first few hours. The very first day I wore this ventilation vest , my shirt was dry and has been ever since I started using it. I will never wear body armour without this ventilation vest again. This was an absolute game changer and improved my quality of life over all by keeping me dry and comfortable. If you are debating on whether or not to get one of these for yourself or for someone you know who wears amour daily etc, Do it. Totally worth every dollar.

The vests we're issued at work are just heat traps (avoid PSP) and I always feel disgusting after a shift even if nothing was going on. Many of us at work have boughten this to help with that and while it definitely does help with sweat, it's not as effective as they marketed it. It definitely allows for more airflow and makes it more breathable but don't expect to not sweat if you do already. I went with an XL (6' ~250lbs) and it fits perfect. It is pretty thick so it does make your vest feel a little more bulky but I'd rather that than sweat a ridiculous amount. For me personally, the shoulder straps are unnecessary and all my colleagues that own this agree but it may depend on the vest you're wearing on top. Their customer service is also fantastic. I ended up losing a strap when I moved and when I reached out for a replacement, they shipped me one free of charge. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you sweat a lot and/or work somewhere warm. Does it make a remarkable difference? No, but it certainly does help.

So don't expect to feel like you are wearing just a t-shirt and not feel your body armor. That being said, when there is a good breeze (driving with wi does down or outside on a windy day) you definitely feel the cooling effect. I find it also keeps me a little more comfortable, a little less sweaty under the vest. Not perfect, but good enough.

Good product and does a decent job. I ordered a large and received an XL which is way too big however. I'm now required to return the vest I was sent in order to receive the size I ordered. I will update with how the process goes.

Great to wear underneath a tactical bulletproof vest. Perfect for those hot summer days, you can actually breathe a little easier and won't sweat to death.
