EPtech New AC Adapter Mains 2wire ACWS011C-05U DSL Modem Power Supply Wall Charger PSU

Got this at a great price after my mom's 2WIRE DSL modem went on the fritz. The AC adapters on these old modems are notorious for failing, so I took a chance on replacing the AC adapter only and it worked! That said, three months later my mom's modem went on the fritz again. This time I replaced the entire set (modem and AC adapter) with a different brand. Therefore, I don't know if this adapter or the modem that failed this time. I will update this review if I ever find out.

Well, what can I say, they work, the seller is fine, problem is they don't last more than a year or so. There is video online at youtube showing the problem and it's simply a bad design. It's a deceiving problem as your modem will show power to it, but not enough to power the services of the modem/router. Problem is, it's what I need for my router/modem so I just keep one on hand.

This didn't work on my AT&T modem...probably not the fault of the product but frustrating regardless.
