These sunglasses are of the latter. For the purpose of this review these sunglasses will be compared to my pair of Oakley Deviations that I bought on sale for roughly the same price as these glasses, I think they were about $40 shipped.These glasses are currently selling for $30 shipped, which in of itself doesn't sound like a great deal, considering you can get any old pair of sunglasses on ebay or amazon or the dollar store. But I guarantee you that those glasses won't hold a candle to these.But to the comparison at hand, MONRAY 2016 vs 2013 Oakley Deviations.Price; Monray wins out by a landslide, coming in at a price that was 25% less than the price of the OakleysWeight: Monray wins out again, the Metallic frame lends itself to be very sturdy, without being insanely heavy like the OakleysLense quality; while the oakleys are 2 years old, the lenses have stood up to the test of time very well, very few scratches, the Monrays, having just received them only time will tell. However it is a tie, while the MONRAYS offer polarized lenses, the Oakleys offer a darker tint. Which lends itself to being more useful in my opinion, however polarization has it's own merits and detriments.Packaging; Most people don't really notice packaging, however that is a very important aspect of your product, showing how you package it, shows how much effort is put into the product as a whole. Monray wins this one by a landslide again, when I got the deviations, I got a cardboard box with a microfiber bag with the glasses in them. When I received the monrays, I received a nondescript small brown cardboard box, but inside, was an envelop with Warranty card, and a little minipacket on my glasses, as well as a cool little holographic picture that only shows up if the glasses you are wearing are polarized! More so they were thoughtful enough to include a white microfiber drawbag to hold the glasses in as well as a matching microfiber cleaning cloth. But then we get to the glasses themselves, do you remember how I said packaging shows how much effort is put into a product? There's a reason Apple doesn't toss the iPhone in just some crummy box, packaging is very important and the MONRAYS come in anything by a cardboard box, rather they come in a small magnetic cover box, that feels and looks like it is coated in white leather. The polarization is just as good if not better than my expensive glasses and the metal frame is made of great quality.another good part is the adjustable nose pads. This isn't common in metal frame glasses, they are usually one piece.The glasses came in a nice box with a glasses case, a cleaning soft cloth, a cleaning soft fabric sunglasses pouch, a polarised test card, a mini screwdriver, an mini instructions pamphlet, and a purchase card. I was very impressed with everything that was included... and they look great on. Very stylish.
