Great Building Set comes with working drill/screwdriver toy that kids love
We gave this building set to our grand-daughter for her 4th birthday on November 1st. I wanted to get her a building toy that she would be interested in and with colors and projects that would appeal to her. She loved it and was excited to use the working electric drill/screwdriver toy that comes with the set. The electric screwdriver needs two AA batteries. It comes with three or four different bits so the child can learn to change the bit depending on the screw or nut he/she is tightening. There is also a regular hand-powered screwdriver. There are lots of screws, nuts, washers, bolts, and different types and sizes of colorful pieces you can use to build things. Everything is made of plastic and is of very good quality. You can make flat projects on the peg board, or can use the peg board as a base to build something that stands up. There are also a number of colorful pre-cut patterns that the child can use on the peg board and it comes with an instruction sheet to showing various things to build. This toy was a hit! I'm glad I bought it.

Grandkids loved it!
Purchased this for my grandkids (girl 11, boy 9) as part of a plan to keep them busy during a week long stay with us. Their parents are careful about limiting screen time and there are no kids around us to play with. Since I work from home, I needed to make sure they had plenty to do during the day. This toy turned out to be a HUGE hit with both kids! They absolutely loved the fact that the screwdriver actually worked. They made designs on the screen as well as upright creations. One day we went to visit an aunt and I wanted to make sure they had something to play with since this older aunt wouldn't have anything there. This is great because it gomes in a compact carrying case. This kept them busy for our 2 hour visit. They loved showing off their creativity. I would highly recommend this for boys and girls of almost any age.

Great for fine motor, son thinks he is an engineer now
I got this for my four-year-old, his dad is a jet mechanic and so he is convinced that a large part of his dad‘s job is screwdrivers and screws and bolts haha. Anyways, it’s a great product, good quality ,my kiddo is pretty rough so I’m glad it is standing up to him well. I love watching my son‘s gears turn as he is working on projects. I got a similar product for my older son a few years ago, but the quality wasn’t as good, in the other product the screwdriver was kind of crappy, but this one is working better and holding up against my tough kids. I definitely recommend just as a fun toy to have for your children or grandchildren, or for a daycare provider to have on hand, it’s a great supplement for learning fine motor skills and creativity. Definitely recommend.

Great toy for learning
This 244 piece electric screwdriver kit is Terrific. My grandson spends hours screwing pieces onto the case it comes with. Everything fits inside the case when finished. We put the pieces in a bowl and let him built on the case. It has holes the screws fit into. He loves the electric "battery operated" screwdriver. He can now change the manual screwdriver from Phillips to a straight head or a nut driver. This has been great for his fine motor skills. Thanks for such a great toy!

Great toy, Poor storage
It's my 4.5 yr old's new favorite! Would highly reccommend. PROS: Easy to use and you can make a ton of different designs. Tools work well, drill needs 2 AA batteries. CONS: Poor storage. There are no compartments to store 244 individual pieces. DO: Order a CRAFTSMAN 10-Compartment Small Tool Storage Organizer, Plastic (CMST14021) to store all of the small pieces.

Grandchildren boys and girls ages 4, 6, and 8 love this set!
This is actually one of the best toys I have ever purchased for my grandchildren. They love it and it keeps them busy for a long time. A very nice break from electronic toys. I find it enjoyable too because we can build things together and it allows for creative play. It is very well made, easy to use, and stores in the nice case provided. Small parts so I don't let the 2 year old play with it yet. I'm going to send a set to my other grandson for his birthday. Don't think twice about this one, you will not be disappointed.

Well worth the purchase . Happy and satisfied customer!
I bought this for my 3 years young busy bee son. Naturally children are curious to do all the things we do and use all the things we use so when I discovered this I knew I was in luck. I like the fact that not only is it a builder set but it makes noise which is another part that reels in their little attention. He absolutely loved it even my 8 years young daughter was all over it! The best part is that its something he can grow into because it has attributes of being super simple while some level of complexity where he can not only use motor skills but cognitive and thinking skills as well! Great make maker! I would recommened as a gift as well and it seems like something to suit children between the ages of young and capable until maybe 10 cause its just fun. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Great gift for a tool-obsessed toddler
We gave this to our son for his 3rd birthday. He's been tool obsessed since birth; so, this is a good toy for him, and a good distraction from stealing daddy's tools. Our son had a Melissa & Doug wooden tool set, but it was way too basic and oversized for his present skill-level; hence, this was the upgrade. PROS Lots of pieces for creativity CONS I wish it was made of metal, but it's all plastic and screws are likely to get stripped More bolts would be useful More pieces that can be screwed together would be nice Could use dividers in the carry-case so that everything isn't all thrown together Drill lacks power We aren't losing pieces, but we're a militant Montessori family; so, our son knows to clean up whatever he's presently playing with before starting on the next activity. If your household doesn't run like that, this has tonnes of small pieces and could be insanity to deal with (and very painful to step on). We're using our 3D printer to make some more parts, and to make a compatible drill-head for a beefier Stanley kid-toy-drill that we have so that he can drill faster. Overall, it's a good gift and our son is super stoked about it!
