Great corn litter
I used Nature's Mìracle Premium Clumping Corn Cob Litter for years but the last time I needed a new bag it was sold out everywhere. This litter seemed pretty similar (clumping, corn based litter) so I bought a bag on Amazon. I paid 31$, which seemed reasonable to me considering what I pay for the litter I normally use, but it turns out Walmart sells this litter for 18$, so I wouldn't recommend buying it on Amazon unless they lower the price. A lot of people complained of a strong perfume on the litter but I didn't find the smell was very strong. Nature Miracle's pine scent was stronger however it dissipated within 24h of pouring it in the box whereas this litter's scent fades a bit but you can still smell it when you stiff through it to clean the box. While I would prefer the litter to be unscented, I think the scent is nice (much nicer than pine) and my cat doesn't seem bothered by the scent at all. This litter has a lot less dust than Nature Miracle's but the amount of tracking is about the same. It clumps really nicely and solidifies clumps a bit faster than NM. Some reviewer complained that the clumps came apart but I think it's just that corn litter needs more time. I've used 3 different brands of corn litters over a decade and I've noticed that it's better to wait half an hour or more before cleaning the clumps of urine otherwise they are still soft in the center and may come apart when you pick them up. I've noticed this litter seems to be going down faster but since it's much cheaper I don't think it's a problem. Although I wish it was unscented, that the bag was resealable and had some sort of handle somewhere to help carry it, this is overall a great corn litter. I love that there is a lot less dust on my cat's paws (and it's so much cheaper)!

"Natural"

Very useful as filler to stretch out the fancy litter
I have two cats and two litter boxes. I live in a small cozy little house and I had to stop using fresh step and tidy cat, etc. because the room with the litter boxes was covered in dust. So were my cats. And my lungs. This litter is wonderful because there’s no dust at all. The piney smell of fresh litter can be a little offputting sometimes but it’s something I’m totally willing to live with in exchange for no dust. However, I will say that on its own this litter does not clump very well at all. If you are able to scoop up a clump from the middle of the box it’ll stay together for the most part, but when the cats leave their little treasures against the side of the litter box as soon as I go to scrape it off it crumbles and I have to get a different scoop just to get the little bits out. It’s annoying but still worth putting up with if it means there’s no dust. Recently, I combined a half a bag of this litter and a half a bag of another natural, sustainable, sand like litter (mixed grain size) and have been very pleased with the results. It’s a shame that the most natural cat litters are the most expensive…with two litter boxes, I can’t afford the fancy brand on its own, but it looks like I’ll be able to get a bag of the fancy stuff and a bag of this litter to blend in with it, and maybe it will last a month. Also, arm and hammer sells a litter deodorizer spray. Do not use it on this litter! It makes the litter even more crumbly than my granny’s sweet cornbread 😅 Update: after a trial period, I’ve found that my “blend” does have good clumping, but not much odor control 🫤 YMMV At least granny’s cornbread smelled good 😄

Powerful Odor Control
The standout feature of this cat litter is its exceptional odor control. Even in a multi-cat household, it effectively neutralizes odors, creating a fresher and more pleasant environment. I appreciate that ARM & HAMMER Naturals Cat Litter incorporates natural ingredients, providing a safer and more eco-friendly option for my cats. The low dust formula is a significant plus, especially for cats and owners sensitive to dust. It contributes to a cleaner litter area and reduces respiratory concerns. A little goes a long way with this cat litter. The 18-pound bag lasts for an extended period, making it a cost-effective choice for multi-cat households. While the quality is evident, the price is relatively higher compared to some other cat litters in the market. It is a top-notch choice for cat owners seeking superior odor control and a more natural litter option. Despite the slightly higher cost, the benefits, including the long-lasting formula and low dust, make it a worthwhile investment in maintaining a clean and odor-free litter area for your feline companions.

We don’t take this lightly, but every home with a cat should be using this cat litter.
I have to go all the way back about a decade ago or so to write this review. Because when I was caring for a furless male cat, with a history of urinary problems, due to being bred and moved around all his life. I made it my mission to put an end to all of that for him. Got him neutered, treated, and set up for a happy life. Unfortunately kidney disease had set in from a life long diet of nothing but dry kibble. So we did our best to keep him fed, and comfortable. Part of that journey was finding this cat litter. We were in a small one bedroom apartment so we needed something that hit all the marks, for us, for the cat and the space. This clumping natural litter was NOTHING like traditional clay litter in all the best ways. ON TOP of controlling odor better, tracking less, lasting longer and clumping better. The overall longevity and the cleanliness and natural ingredients was unmatched. I remember it felt to good to be true when we found something that worked. Transitioning them to the litter was hard at first because they had used clay litter all their life. But once that hurdle was over, things became so much better for us and our furless guy! He had less UTIs’ because cats without fur, they need special hygienic attention daily, multiple times a day. Your setup for the litter box has to be specific to their needs as well. High walled litter boxes with a low entry point is often key, but after a hairless cat, this cat litter is the true hero and wouldn’t you know it. Now we have camp kitty, caring for multiple cats, some with disabilities and this cat litter continues to serve us and the kitties so well. You can see from my video that it really does clump instantly, it’s very easy to scoop, and like the packaging says, at least 3 inches of cat litter in the pan! We opt for a whole sand box situation simply because we have so many cats and a total of 4 of the giant litter boxes you see on my video plus 6-8 regular sized pans through out all of their spaces in the home. Cleaning litter boxes is a BIG DEAL everyday around these parts and we wouldn’t change it for a thing! We just feel blessed to have a cat litter we can trust, especially having delt with more cats that turned out to begin having urinary issue such as struvite crystals. We felt better prepared and still do. Our experience with a furless cat taught us so much and we carry that knowledge forward to caring for so many more cats today. This cat litter has been a big part of that journey, still going strong. I was delighted to find these huge bags of it here on Amazon. Before we had been buying the single regular sized bags, like 5-10 at a time from the store. But now I know this size is available, I’ll definitely just be ordering them here. Because I have never seen this big of bag in the store. Every home with a cat should be using this cat litter. I’m not going to make this review about cat health, but fact is their cat litter is as important as their food. If you want the healthiest cat, no matter what kind of cat you have, in our experience nothing compares to this cat litter. Genuinely natural, tailored for cats and the type of kitty waste they produce, easy to use and little to no dust. I’ve yet to find a better consistent alternative, but more importantly I haven’t really felt like I needed to. All but one kitty, who’s is disabled, uses this cat litter and I know if I even tried they wouldn’t go near clay. They won’t even touch the crystal stuff, which is a shame because I love the idea of being able to see if the ph is off in my cats urine! That’s huge in terms of caregiving to them. However! I have taken a chunk of a clump of this litter, to the vet, and they were able to get what they needed from it to see that one of our young male cats had a lot of small struvite crystals in his urine and he needed treatment, which we started and he is fine now, with diet change and occasional meds. He is the white cat in the video who used the litter box. I want to note something I think is important for robot litter box users of any sort. Personally, been there and done that, and I’m not convinced that they will ever be easier, especially for indoor multi-cat environments, than litter in a pan. Preferably stainless steel. But that’s just me. BUT! Will this cat litter work in a litter robot? I think it would. It clumps like clay litter if not better, and it clumps quickly, literally as the kitty is going potty. Once clumped, I’m able to take it from the litter box to the trash can without worrying if it’s gonna fall apart. It stays clumped in my experience. So yes, I would try it personally. But I don’t use litter robots, so take that with a grain of salt. One last thing, if you have read this far, thank you. I know that means you really care. That’s why I’m writing this review, because we love cats so much. They are brilliant little creatures, once you tune into their needs. If you’re ever blessed enough to care for a kitty, you know that’s a special kind of love. Through the ups and downs, you’re there for them and that’s what matters! We hope this review helped you in some way. Good luck on all your cat caregiving journeys!
