An ergonomic, budget masterpiece
I have been using this keyboard for a while now, and it's absolutely amazing. Don't let the "Membrane keys" title put you off, this keyboard built to such a high standard that you hardly notice it. The lighting on this keyboard is mesmerizing, there are several preset modes to choose from, and you can make your own. Although there is a little light leakage that causes some of the color to go onto the keys surrounding it, again, this keyboard is built to such a high standard that you hardly notice it. Also, the keys are bright and support very vivid colors, the keys can be easily seen in a completely lit room. (While typing this, I shone my phone torch onto the keyboard and the lighting remained completely visible, still at its luminous, bright colors.) (You can also dim the lights if it gets annoying, don't worry about that) As for gaming, this is by far the best keyboard I've ever used. Its response time is instant, the G keys are absolutely game changing, and another cool little feature that I appreciate is the media keys, meaning you can play songs while ingame and if you need to concentrate, you can just hit pause without having to tab out of your game to pause it, hence ruining your concentration. But no, with this, it's as simple as just one push of a button. You can also cycle through your songs with the 2 media keys surrounding the pause key. Now for ergonomics. I have never typed on a keyboard so comfortable. The wrist support allows you to slope your hands to the perfect typing position, and I find that I can type significantly faster with this keyboard over other keyboards. I could press the keys for hours, It feels like some type of angelic jelly has been laid underneath the keys. This combined with the wrist support creates the ultimate gaming and typing experience.

Great membrane keyboard
My favourite keyboard ever. Looks great, has very vibrant colours, a bunch of extra buttons. Isn't loud like the mechanical ones but does have it's clicky sound. Biggest issue as with everything corsair makes is iCue software tho recently it doesn't bug me too much...

My honest Opinion
I’ve been using the CORSAIR K55 RGB PRO XT for a while now, and honestly, I’m really happy with it. The size is perfect—not too bulky and not too small—so it fits nicely on my desk without feeling cramped. One of my favourite things about it is the 6 extra programmable macro keys. I’ve set them up for gaming shortcuts, and they’ve made things a lot more convenient. Definitely a nice bonus if you play games regularly. The RGB lighting is fully customizable, and I like that I can adjust the brightness too. My old keyboard was always too bright at night, so this is a big improvement. The typing sound is just right—not loud and clicky, but not mushy or too quiet either. It feels pretty satisfying to type on. It connects with a regular USB-A cable, which I actually prefer over USB-C. Overall, the K55 RGB PRO XT is a great choice if you're looking for a solid membrane keyboard that works well for both gaming and everyday use.

Strange format for shifted values on keys
My first impression was that I'd ordered the wrong keyboard (again). Somehow I managed to order a German one the first time. The values on the keys when shift is used are not displayed in the usual UK keyboard format. The shifted value is shown below the unshifted value, instead of above. It's not the end of the world, but it takes some getting used to. It's fine for the number keys, but a nuisance for brackets and symbols, if you're not a typist.. Also, it took some figuring out how to stop the mad lighting effect and get a nice solid light blue colour. That said, it's a nice keyboard (a bit noisy, despite the blurb on the box) and the icue software (that I only found out about when Googling how to stop the bloomin' lights flashing) has some very useful key and compatible mouse assignment functions. An instruction manual or some obvious link to an online one would be useful, as this is not your basic keyboard and has more functionality than meets the eye.

Has a lot of Keys
A very good keyboard for a non-mechanical keyboard it has loads of keys to stop the music play next and ajust volume it also has extra keybindings, (eg g1,g2....up to g6) the lights can be changed to multiple colours and moments of the lgiths such as light starts pulsating if u touch a keybinding, the hard rest is very comfortable i alwasy have it on and very study with a fairly roush texture to not make ur hand slip, i do recommend it

Decent Choice as a First gaming keyboard / For Budget setups.
For the K55 PRO XT model Keys The keys are not mechanical, but they have a pretty good feeling to them when pressing down, also quite responsive. They are not loud at all if this is one of your concerns. The keyboard is also packed with 6x macro keys, which can be handy for some people who are into MMOs and streamers. Definitely better than ordinary £10-20 keyboard. Size and Comfort The keyboard is really big. Especially if have the wrist rest attached, which is quite comfortable if you ask me. The wrist rest is made out of silicon-ish material so its not the smoothest and can get dirty pretty quick, but easy to clean as it can be removed easily. RGB + Software RGB lighting is really nice and looks much better compare to other £40-60 keyboards. It requires the ICUE software to run on your PC to make the most out of it. Luckily it barely put any strains on your system, so probably no issue for most people. Worth mentioning. The Software might not recognize the keyboard at first. Updating/ Newly downloading and restarting the PC helped me. I seen others had the similar issue. There are few solution this issue is quiet common among K55 keyboards My Experience with the K55 PRO XT I have this keyboard for 2 moths by now and there have been no MAJOR issues with it. After a few weeks the numlock indicator light went off and the left arrow key had a different rgb colour but was fixed with upgrading firmware and restarting the pc. I recommend buying this product but only when discounted. The £70 price tag is bit expensive for the K55 PRO XT model.

This keyboard is amazing.
For it's price, I get full lighting control with each key individually lit for the most customisability, nice tactile feeling keys with an amazing sound to them and the keyboard comes with stream deck keys which I bound to basic computer controls like web browser, screen capture and on screen annotations. It's software, iCue by Corsair, also adds to the customisability allowing you to quite literally make your own patterns and drawings on the keyboard which I find amazing.

Other reviews are somewhat misleading
To prefix my review, I'm a PC gamer of 20 years, specifically MMORPGs, but I also type a lot and play Esports titles, as is such from the typical Discord basement-dweller. After yet another Razer keyboard breaking for reasons unknown, I decided to downgrade to something quieter, and a little simpler to program as Razer and Logitech have terrible software. This keyboard is VERY quiet, which is something I wanted going into the summer months, as I strongly dislike my neighbours and don't want them to hear me type as that gives them a reason to acknowledge my existence and therefore annoy me. That's where the pros end. I had a Blackwidow V3 which was so much more responsive, easier to clean, brushed aluminium, and just generally a gigantic step above this keyboard, and at the time of purchase it cost exactly the same amount as this one. The K55 RGB "Pro" NXT feels sluggish at best. The keys require an unusual amount of force to register a keystroke, which I suppose should be expected from a membrane keyboard, but this feels exactly like my very first RGB keyboard which came as a keyboard and mouse set for £15. The only difference is that this one has very confusing macro keys to the left of where the main keyboard usually ends, and costs 5 times as much. This causes somewhat of a learning curve as you'll think you're pressing shift, only to be pressing G5. This is something I took into account and have gotten used to as time has progressed, but still find it unreasonably awkward. The macro keys, whilst possibly being a reason why you'd purchase this keyboard to begin with, and something I thought I'd have use for, have very little use as you're able to do the exact same thing with any other key on the keyboard anyway. These keys are merely a distraction and get in the way when you're doing something complicated like high M+ keys on WoW or Savage raiding on FFXIV. Compared to other similarly-priced keyboards, this just doesn't meet expectations. The RGB is very limited in its programmability, and the wrist-rest is both far too small and far too flimsy. I can't speak for the longevity of the device compared to similar Razer products as I don't intend to own this one for 2 years in order to find out. I'll be sending this back soon. There simply is no reason to be charging £70+ for a keyboard that's this difficult to use and so remarkably similar to beginner keyboard + mouse bundles that cost £50 less.

Fel i beskrivningen
