Doesn't work for pea white granite. Applied 3 coats and still I don't see any water proof properties

Pl.don't purchase this type of product. Rs2750/- waste of my money. This is petroleum product only. I think Actual cost for this product just Rs. 500 to 700/-

J'ai des comptoirs en granit à la maison depuis une 15aines d'années. Je les ai toujours traités ( environ 2 fois par an ) avec ce scelant. Et mes comptoirs sont encore comme neuf. Le produit a une odeur très prennante et désagréable il est donc important de bien aérer la pièce lors de l'utilisation mais sinon il sèche rapidement et rends l'entretient et le nettoyage quotidien beaucoup plus facile.

This product has a strong odor, that smells like nail polish. However, it works incredibly well and was super easy to apply. I tested it on my nightstand before deciding to use it on my new marble kitchen countertops. I just thoroughly cleaned the dust off my old marble nightstand top and made sure it fully dried. I, then, applied the Proseal with a small piece of lint-free rag and a gloved hand, just by lightly rubbing on a good amount. I went over it twice. The next day I tested my surface with a drop of oil, in an inconspicuous spot, and the oil just beaded up on top without any penetration into the marble, at all, even with leaving it there overnight! No more worrying about oil or wine stains! After it dries it does leave the surface slightly dollar, but this buffs out with a clean cloth. I have used other marble sealers in the past for my bathroom marble tiles. This one is considerably easier to apply than the Bulletproof sealer I used before, because you don't have to keep going over the same tile to keep it wet for 15 minutes like the other one, which was very time consuming with doing 60 ft. However, the sealer does have a much stronger odor than the Bulletproof sealer, just fyi. I made sure I had an open window with a fan blowing out. Also with the bulletproof sealer I could still get oil penetration. As with any sealer, it should be replied every 6 months to a year, depending on how much use the surface gets.

I purchased the Proseal and the Hydrex products from Tenax. Both are EXCELLENT products, but the Proseal protects again grease/oil, as well as water. I started my project by testing both products on a scrap piece of granite we had. I first did half of the piece with the proseal and half with the hydrex. I thought that the hydrex side had a smoother finish - my hand just slid across it, versus the proseal being a little more "tacky" which really isn't a good word to use as the product and granite was dry. It just was not as smooth as the hydrex side. Again, the products protect against different things ... hydrex is more for water, whereas proseal is water and oil. On my test piece, I decided to put the hydrex over the proseal and see what happened. When dry, both sides were nicely smooth. I decided from this test that I would use the proseal as a base layer and then finish with the hydrex simply for the smooth finish. While doing our entire kitchen countertops, I found application is be quite easy ... after reading some suggestions online, I donned nitrile gloves and proceeded to just use my hands to apply the sealer ... working the sealer across our new granite countertops keeping the areas wet. After some time (maybe 10-15 minutes), I took a cloth and wiped the countertops down (removing the excess) and allowed the counters to dry. I tested the application with water. There was complete beading and no penetration. I did not test it with oil/grease. I did make sure that my application around the stove and sink was thorough - even applying it twice in those locations. I am very happy with this product and would definitely purchase again.

Came recommended by a pro installer. Easy to use by pouring it out seems to make a mess. Wish it didn't come in a fat can with small lid. I applied it with a sponge paint stick. 2 coats. Seams to work well. Accidently got some on the wood of the cabinet and didn't seem to affect it in any way...whew!
