## Description

desertcart.com Even with a good automatic home espresso machine, it can be tricky to make perfect foam for cappuccinos. However, the Caffe Froth Eiffel makes wonderful, thick foam and is a snap to use. Just pour warmed milk into the carafe to the indicator line, and then pump the lid handle up and down to froth milk into thick foam for coffee drinks or hot chocolate. The Caffe Froth Eiffel's slender design and brushed-steel domed lid complements BonJour's Eiffel French Press Coffee Makers, designed with Paris's most famous landmark in mind. The pitcher is made of sturdy glass and has a snug rubber coaster to prevent skidding during use. The Caffe Froth Eiffel is dishwasher-safe. Frothing disks unscrew from the metal plunger stem for easy cleaning. The carafe is microwave-safe for heating milk--but not the plunger lid, with its metal stem--be sure to remove the lid before microwaving. A black acrylic foam scoop and the nonskid rubber coaster are included. --Garland Withers Product Description Bonjour provides high-quality, innovative coffee, tea, culinary, cookware, bakeware and stoneware products for all cooks, from the amateur to the most discerning. Caffe Froth's patented design transforms non-fat milk into rich, creamy froth. Perfect for delicious cappuccinos, lattes and mochas. Simply pour non-fat milk to the indicator line, place lid on carafe and pump 20 times.

Review: Much sturdier than you'd expect, great foam! - When I first received this I was a little surprised at how fragile it felt and appeared. I used it VERY carefully at first, heating my milk in another container first, while heating this up in a bowl of warm water so that it didn't shatter. Looking back, wow, was I being silly. I've had this for just shy of a year and now I put it in the microwave, dishwasher and honestly, I'm not that careful with it. It's much more solid than it looks. As far as it's ability to froth, honestly, it's terrific. I only have one thing to complain about and that is that if I get too carried away with the plunger, hot milk spurts out of the pour spout, but that is mentioned as a possibility in the directions. Personally, I think that if they just went to a plastic molded lid (which would need a few air holes on the top for air movement/suction issues) that included/covered the pour spout then it would be perfect! I'm still giving it 5 stars though as I now don't know what I'd do without it. UPDATE: March 2019... I'm STILL using it. Still working, not broken it. Still shocked. Still Loving it.
Review: The best manual milk frother. - I bought this as a gift for my father, who had purchased a similar frother while on business in Europe several years ago (for much more money, I might add) and was heartbroken when the glass finally shattered. As the name suggests, this is used to "froth" milk into a foam, which is great for those of us that occasionally enjoy a nice cappuccino (or latte) but have no desire to invest in an expensive and large machine for this purpose. The directions are simple: fill milk up to the fill line, move the little black knob up and down quickly for thirty seconds (or so), and then microwave for thirty seconds (or so). All of this is easily adjustable to personal preference. We were surprised to find that this frother worked much better than my father's original frother, requiring less effort to get the milk foamy. Of course, it suffers from the same pitfall of being fragile, but as long as you don't drop it or knock it over you should be fine. The removable no-skid base helps. Overall, we're very impressed with this frother. The quality of every piece is great, from the net to the plunger to the glass, and the froth it makes is great! I even ended up caving and ordering one for myself.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best manual milk frother.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Frothy Goodness
*by G***' on November 22, 2013*

Easy to use, Stores in Fridge, Does a fantastic job, even with whole milk and flavoring combined together. Easy to clean. The older models had a plastic disc on the very bottom and very top of the aerating device, however the newer (since ~2008) only have one plastic disc on top of the metal wire/mesh. I broke the bottom plastic piece on my original but was able to still use it by replacing it with a large washer. By trial and error, I have learned you do not have to rapidly force the plunger from top to bottom (like a piston) but to rather make sure the mesh & Wire disc just go above the level of milk enough to bring air down into the milk mixture... speed is not really a factor. I know some state the beaker is fragile, but again, you don't have to use the plunger devise very aggressively, you are just putting air into the milk mixture to froth it. I have had my two BonJour Cafe Frothers for over 10 years and the only casualty was one bottom plastic disc. I have put them through the dishwasher as well as hand washing with no incident.
