Field Guide to Wild Flowers of South Africa

This is a reference book printed on heavy bound paper that will stand up to abuse. Given that you can ID the family, this field guide should help you find the actual plant. Good info on how to ID. Plants divided into 10 groups (1-2 family) and alphabetical. Supported by SANBI. Packed with information and ID keys. Now if only author had a downloadable app version, I have a 44lb weight limit and this bad boy clocks in at 998g (2.2lb).

The book is informative and esthetic. It provides professional knowledge together with beautiful and accurate pictures. What a huge amount of field work that the author had taken! From read the book one can feel how much the author loved and enjoyed this work!

Wonderful for anyone in love with beauty, flora, African herbalists, etc. Great coffee book, a gift for hobbyists, or for the serious scholar.

Good book
