My husband is a watch guy, so when I found out that I could get him a watch made out of wood, I just HAD to give it a try! And I think this is a fantastic option!What we liked:1) The size. The face and the band are much bigger than a lot of the other wooden watches that I've seen and this one really stands out with its size. Its not so big that it's obnoxious, but it definitely draws the eye to it.2) The colors. Very understated, looks high end, the grain looks great on the face and the band. I'm glad I went with a lighter color.3) The clasp. The deployment type clasp is my husbands favorite type and this one seems to be well done. It holds securely and looks good.4) The style. Its very understated and minimal, and it lends a hand towards a modern aspect with a side of peculiarity with the wood material. Its very cool.5) Lightweight. It only weighs about an ounce and my husband really likes how light it is.6) It commands a lot of attention. My husband came home the first day after wearing it and said "I had no idea that so many people looked at watches. Almost every person I talked to today made a comment about it, and most people were really fascinated with it." Its a definite attention getter without being over the top.7) The watch comes in a very nice box wrapped around a little black pillow and the presentation is great. This would be a GREAT gift to give to the man in your life. Well presented.What we didn't like:1) The only complaint is that it might not be big enough for you if you have a very large wrist. My husband usually has to take out a link with every watch hes owned, but this one fit him right out of the box. Its a good thing for him, but if you have a large wrist, this might not fit you very well unless you get another link.Overall, my husband was THRILLED to give this a try and it has been put in his regular rotation of watches that he wears.
