XL is equivalent to 9-10. 2X is 11-12. **Q: Do these really show lines?** A: If you buy a tighter fit you might notice indentions at the waistline. But no lines from shorts as they are honestly the softest smoothest fabric you'll wear. There are no seams on backside to bump up and notice either. **Q: do these have a cotton-lined crotchal area? as in, two fabric layers right in there? other Q/A's seem to give completely different answers.** A: We do not have any cotton in our products. These are so comfortable and fit so nicely (as long as you're careful about sizing), that as a lazy millennial, I'm actually taking extra care when washing these to make sure they last as long as possible lol I ordered a few pair of size small initially and they fit okay but they're a bit too tight for my liking but medium is absolutely perfect. For reference I normally wear 'small' on a lot of my clothes, and my hips are 39", waist at the most narrow point is 28", single thigh circumference at around 3" below the crotch is 22.5" if that helps anyone with sizing.I promise they're worth the price! Decided to bite the bullet and invest in a three-pack to test the waters. Size-wise I was just at the cutoff of L and XL and decided to size up to XL. I figured the panties themselves would be OK but was afraid of the waistband binding or feeling hard.I think I would have been fine with the size L but have no problems with XL. The waistband is soft like baby's butt as is the panty material. No rolling, no bunching. My only concern has been if these will start to pill easily when washed. Have had some tops of similar material in the past and they started to pill sooner than I would have wanted.
