Update 2: It took awhile to get to me...then found it a bit short compare to existing FJ 10.5 insole
Please see pic to see variance of Aline laid over pre-existing sole. It's a bit short and will be ordering next size up and if I need to, I will trim.Update: Below are pics (2nd and 3rd) on the next size up 11.0 - 12.0. You can see by the side-by-side and the overlay that the 11.0 - 12.0 is a perfect match for my FJ 10.5 wide. Again, I will be walking on an Executive and an 18 hole course this week and provide an Update (2).Update 2: Wore the replacement 11.0 - 12.0 on both the Executive (Par 3; hilly inclines) and then a flat 18 hole course. (I will post same review under 11.0 - 12.0) As another Buyer review indicates the sole (arch support and heel) is rigid. Personally, I also found them too stiff and they actually created more fatigue specifically my arches and calf. They are stable on set up but for a brisk aggressive walking style it doesn't work for me. Please note: my non-golfing days my regimen includes 2 mile / 30 minute brisk walk and full regimen of golf related muscle activation / conditioning drills. My arches are not flat but high (see added pic)...hence I thought these would work to compliment walking the course and a stable set up. But with the fatigue in lower body it does affect my overall swing dynamics. I will put OEM FJ soles back as they seem to enhance a true walking shoe feel and balance.I placed it into Foot Joy Contour soft-spike (contour) and I can feel more support in the heel. This insole provides great support on trail leg / foot heel. (I focus and practice on weight being at the inside of trail foot / heel on back swing). I believe this will work well with the flexible as well as the firm soled golf shoes in terms of comfort and should not affect those who prefer flexible soles (feel the ground) and those who prefer less with a firm sole. The weight of this insole is a non-issue. The overall cushioned feel is semi-firm which may soften up...it does feel good! I really believe that having a proper foundation (foot to ground), having proper "feel" to provide effective weight / pressure distribution while maintaining balance is very important. I will need to evaluate how it does on walking 18 holes. However, complete review will need to be done after I receive replacement.

Great Insole!
Sooo, I have been struggling with achilles tendinitis for over 6 months and have been trying a number of different things; including various stretches, a soft splint at night, and several trips to a podiatrist. I received these a week and a half ago and immediately put them into the Clark's that I wear to work. They fit perfectly and although are partially hard were very comfortable. It is probably a culmination of all the various thing I have been doing but these may have been the tipping point as my achilles is feeling much better and I am not hobbling around like a 65 year old man...oh wait..I am 65. Hmmm, oh well, not quite the fountain of youth but I am ordering a second pair today in order to avoid having to shift them from one shoe to another. They worked for me!

I found the inserts to be comfortable and firm
I found the inserts to be comfortable and firm. I was hoping that it would keep my neuroma on my right foot from flaring up but alas I need something softer under the ball of that foot. The inserts are firm and do provide good support. I use orthotics in my golf shoes already, I was just hoping these pull be better. I will use these in other shoes where I'm not on my feet walking 18 holes. As far as service, I got the Aline inserts in a timely manner and I have no complaints.

Great Stabilizing for Golf
The price may seem high, but for what they do (and how long they will probably last)...well worth it. I've worn soft and gel shoe inserts before, and this Aline for golf is something different. The inserts are firm with just a little spring, and do more than just support the arch and heal. Somehow they also add stability to the outside edges of your feet.I've suffered some weakness and loss of balance in my right leg. The Alines also seem to keep my right leg and foot in the correct alignment. I will now order another pair for my daily work shoes.

I think Aline's are a good product; this is my fifth or sixth pair
I think you should mention the optional heel pads in advertising this product. I was told that heel pads are only offered with golf insoles, but what I purchased ARE golf insoles.....????? I think Aline's are a good product; this is my fifth or sixth pair, but I ALWAYS wear them with heel pads. And one other thing -- I wear them for tennis AND golf, and I play tennis several times more often than I play golf.

New product for neuropthy.
These are not your typical Dr. S. Inserts. They are firm and form fitted. Only reason for the four stars is I'm just starting their use, one week today. So far I've found the support very good. I suffer from chronic neuropathy in my feet so here's hoping for some long term relief.

they didn't state that the 5-6 was for men's shoes ...
they didn't state that the 5-6 was for men's shoes and that it was a 6-7 for women's so we returned it since it wasn't explained properly however I have a pair of 11-12 that do fit my 11 men's shoe and think that they do help but only have used them for a few rounds - too early to tell yet

Works as well as my Dr. ordered orthotic
I have specially made orthotics from a podiatrist. But I had to send them in for repair. I bought the Aline to use in the meantime, just hoping to get by. But I am finding that the Aline is every bit as good as the Dr. ordered orthotic. I’m beginning to “realign” my thinking.

I have medically prescribed orthotic insoles but still experience aching ...
I have medically prescribed orthotic insoles but still experience aching and tender pads and toes after playing 8 holes symptons of metertarsalalgia.I find, much to my disappointmet, after using ALINE ther was no improvement whatsoever. They are very hard and offer no "give" or resilliance. Sorry but I guess they were worth a try but not the answer I was looking for
